Hello! My name is Sunflower, and I'm available for adoption at Santa Barbara Humane's Santa Maria Campus! Sunflower is a sweet, beautiful girl with a big personality to match her size. She’s fun, goofy, and outgoing, and she loves making new friends wherever she goes. One of her favorite things is water, so she’s always ready for a splash in a kiddie pool. She already knows some basic training, including sit, and is excited to keep learning. Sunflower comes with free training classes, making it easy to continue building on her skills while strengthening your bond. Like all animals at Santa Barbara Humane, before going home I will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped​. My adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam with a participating local veterinary clinic as well as a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help make my first few days at home a little easier. If you're ready to welcome me or another animal into your family, stop by during adoption hours—daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. No ​appointment or advance notice is ​r​equired! Need to pick up a few essentials before heading home? Visit the retail center at either Santa Barbara Humane campus, where you'll find toys, treats, collars, leashes, and more at competitive prices. Every purchase helps support the animals in our care and the programs that serve pets and people throughout our community. ​We hope to see you soon!

He loves going for walks, exploring new places and taking in the world at his own gentle pace. While he can be timid when meeting new people, he warms up quickly, especially if you come bearing treats. Once he feels safe, his sweetness shines through! Ollie`s past wasn`t easy. He was found in the riverbed after being on the run for several days, and because of that history, he is a flight risk who will need secure fencing and thoughtful management during transitions and outdoor time. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine companion to help him continue building trust and stability. Despite everything he`s been through, Ollie remains a resilient, loving dog who forms deep bonds and blossoms beautifully with patience, safety and kindeness.
