Story
Meet the sugary sweet Suzanna, who loves nothing more than to hang around the property and soak up the sun. Suzanna is fairly mellow and walks excellent on leash; we think she might know some basic commands already too. We can't say this enough- Suzanna loves to be outdoors! She is very anxious inside and our guess is she was an outdoor dog before finding herself in the shelter. Once outside, Suzanna is a happy girl and very content to lounge and watch the day go by. She watches the shelter happenings from our outdoor dog run during the day and we think she'd love to watch over your barn or porch. We don't normally adopt out outdoor-specific dogs, but we think in Suzanna's case, that's where she'd be happiest (with appropriate shelter of course). Suzanna has mingled well with the other dogs at the shelter and although not overly playful, she can hang around them no problem as long as they respect her space. We've also had her around children (~10 years old) and she's done wonderfully. If you'd like to add an amazing dog to your family and are okay if she chooses the outdoors over being inside, come meet Suzanna! We'd love to introduce you! Suzanna is approximately 4-5 years old and weighs 67 pounds. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Story
Ayla is a beautiful girl. About 11 weeks old, DOB: 12/17/25. But lately her behaviors and aggression have become too difficult for me to understand or manage. She loves being outside, very loyal to me, likes to stalk around the property and be on the lookout. She does have food guarding/aggression. She’s about 80% potty trained. Shots are up to date with last set on March 17th. Microchipped. Got her at 5.5 weeks old from a ranch family. Behavioral aggression that needs constant training that I can’t give her and don’t know how.

Story
My son brought home three littermates. I wanted one. This didn’t turn out well, now I have to rent my cabin out for financial and practical reasons. I also have Thors neutered brother. Thor is a bit of a lonely guy now that his sister is gone. He has been on 20 acres with horses on a Halo collar and hes fine. I have to move out on 3/1 and cant keep him. Thor has not been trained, so his potential is endless. Please, I dont want to surrender him to the local shelter. We know what that means. You could talk me out of his brother if you want two. City life isnt good for these guys. Thank you!!!

Story
I have had Blanca now for about three months. She was running wild at one of the ranches I work at. She was probably abandoned one and a half to two years prior to that and was scared of people so we couldn’t get close to her. She finally lost so much weight that she had to come near me to get food. I caught her and after about a day, she warmed right up to me. She must’ve been someone’s house dog that was abandoned. I’ve kept her in my house several nights and she’s not had one accident. She’s ridden in my truck several hours now and has not had an accident in there either. I don’t think she loves riding in the vehicle, but she tolerates it without any sickness or physical stress. My local vet helped me get her up to speed on her vaccines, rabies, fleas, the whole 9 yards. She’s a really good dog that works well around my nieces and nephews and is super loving. She is actively shedding a bit, but my vet says she will get through that and come back normal.
