Story
We love Bear. He is a great dog, truly. He is true to his Pyrenees breed and territorial. We love that he is and love that he is protective. That is why we pursued this Pyredoodle breed. This dog is actually nicknamed the Nanny Dog because they are so loyal and attached to their family. But he is too attached to me and becomes jealous of the kids. We have had him since 4 months old and he has always played with our sons as if they were his puppy playmates. But he out of the blue bit our oldest son on the hand a few weeks ago during a routine collar removal and acted very guilty for several days. He knew what he did was wrong. We will never know if he bit for a legitimate reason like pain, but we can't have that happen again. He is a great, loving, playful dog. He's only 19 months old. However, we want to give him a good life and re-home him to a family without kids living in the home if that's what his temperament requires.
