If you find him outside soaking up the sunshine or happily working on a favorite chew, he is probably having the perfect day. Cloud is full of personality. He can be affectionate on his own terms and enjoys spending time with the people he trusts, but he is also an old man who appreciates his space. Confined areas can make him uncomfortable, and when he feels the need to protect something he considers his own, his livestock guardian instincts take over. That is simply who Cloud is.Cloud's best fit:Cloud is looking for a home that understands and appreciates livestock guardian breeds. He is not looking for apartment living or a life spent mostly indoors. Instead, he would love a property where he has space to stretch his legs, enjoy the outdoors, and continue living the lifestyle he knows best. Cloud's ideal adopter will understand that he is not a typical pet dog. He is an independent thinker with strong guardian instincts who thrives when those instincts are respected rather than discouraged. For someone experienced with Great Pyrenees or other livestock guardian breeds, Cloud will make a loyal and rewarding companion.

Story
Kate is an outdoor girl at heart who is still learning what life as a companion dog can look like. New people can make her nervous, and she needs time to settle in and decide she feels safe. Once she does, her affectionate side comes through quickly. She becomes playful, loving, and full of personality, especially when toys are involved. She likes to toss them around and entertain herself, often turning a simple toy into a full activity.She came from a situation where she spent much of her time alone in a pen, so many parts of home life are still new to her. She seems to be generally kennel trained, does well with cats, and has been around dogs, though she prefers calmer companions and thoughtful introductions.Kate’s best fit:Kate would do best in a patient, lower-traffic home that can give her the slow introduction and consistency she needs to feel secure or in a farm situation where she can live outdoors. A quieter environment with calm animals and people who understand that trust takes time will help her continue building confidence. Once she feels comfortable, she forms strong bonds and shows a deeply affectionate, playful side that is worth the wait.

Story
Just turned 1yr old. She is the SWEETEST dog ever. Loves everyone! Great with our 3 under 3yr old kids. Crete trained/ housetrained but outside as much as possible. When she was 6m old she fractured her hip(small). Bc she was so young the vet saw no issues with healing and she did! But now has a limp due to a stiff foot/ toes bc she stood/walked on them while recovering. Regardless she is a GREAT guard dog for her chickens & ducks. Her limping does not stop her from running & playing as well. We are in a financial hardship right now due to my health and have lost our farm! Our chickens are gone& ducks going tomorrow& we have to move. I can't do much at all, my husband does EVERYTHING for me and our 3 goin on 4 kids. In which Millie loves/ is great with.Bc I am so ill,now pregnant on top of that I require around the clock care. We simply can't afford to take care of her anymore & don't have the time or energy to give her what she needs. We love her so much she deserves better than this.
