This giant hunk of handsome is Jaeger. Jaeger is a 2.5 year old NEUTERED white male Great Pyr mix who was adopted from the shelter and returned. Jaeger DOES NOT do well with cats. He is, however, fantastic with other dogs and children. He's also fully house trained. Jaeger walks pretty well on a leash but does pull a little. He is current on his rabies vaccination, weighs about 113 pounds, is already microchipped, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is ONLY $30.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

Story
Hello all! I have been looking to try to rehome my 3year old great Pyrenees mix for several months now. He is a 75 pound absolute sweetheart. He gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats either although he can get really excited around small children and knock them over. I feel like with some proper training might help alleviate that we live in EVANSVILLE Indiana and we are very reluctant to drop him off at a animal shelter and wanted to take the hard road to try to find him a good home ourselves. We have a lot of life changes in the past six months that has basically left us with no choice. Please shoot me a p.m. if you would be interested I can fill you in on any questions or give you a more detailed reason why we need to rehome them in a private message thank you so very much for considering him. He’s definitely one of those dogs that you would never regret bringing home!

Story
She was in a litter at the Vanderburgh Humane Society and now she's 2 months old. We adopted her but could not handle the burden of a puppy as we hoped we could, our cat handles her fine but it may vary from cat to cat and the pup herself doesn't pay much attention to him. She has been spayed and her vaccination file will be provided, as well as some food. We are now looking to rehome this 2 month old puppy to give her a better home than we can provide.
