Story
**Meet Maxmilliam! 🐾**Maxmilliam is a handsome 1-year, 7-month-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle heart and so much love to give! He came to our shelter after being owner surrendered when his previous family could no longer handle him. Despite the changes in his life, Maxmilliam has remained a sweet, well-mannered boy who is ready to find his forever home.Maxmilliam is house trained and knows the commands **Sit**, **Inside**, and **Out**. While we're unsure if he's crate trained, he has excellent manners overall. He rides well in the car, is a perfect gentleman at both the veterinarian and the groomer, and absolutely melts for head scratches! He's great with children and gets along well with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for many families. He has never been around cats or farm animals, so we aren't sure how he would do with them. One of the best updates about Maxmilliam is that after receiving treatment for heartworms before coming to our shelter, he has now tested **HEARTWORM NEGATIVE**! He is current on his rabies vaccine and has been brought up to date on all of his other vaccinations, so he's ready for his next adventure.Maxmilliam will need to remain with us for his neuter surgery, but he is **available for adoption now**, and his forever family can begin the adoption process before his procedure.**Maxmilliam's adoption fee is $105.50 plus tax**, which includes his vaccinations, rabies vaccine, heartworm treatment and negative retest, and his neuter prior to going home.If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and well-behaved companion who loves attention as much as he loves head scratches, Maxmilliam may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet this wonderful boy—you just might fall in love!Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
