Story
Smartie is a 10 month old Great Pyrenees mix. He is great with children, but may need to be in a home without small children due to his size. He loves to play, but sometimes he can get too rough with littles and accidentally knock them down. He is fully house trained, but he is used to being in a kennel at night. He can be rambunctious, but is also a huge snuggler. He is good with other animals, but loves to play, so I wouldn’t put him with an older dog or cat that doesn’t like dogs.

Story
Meet Fuzzy, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who looks just like a big, lovable polar bear! Weighing 80 pounds, this fluffy gentleman is as adorable as he is charming.Fuzzy was found as a stray and sadly was never reclaimed, but he hasn’t let that dim his joyful spirit. He loves everyone he meets and has such a happy, friendly personality. One of his cutest traits? When he runs, he hops like a bunny — it’s impossible not to smile watching him bounce around with excitement!Because he came to us as a stray, we’re unsure how he does with other animals or children, and we don’t know if he is house or crate trained. With patience, guidance, and consistency, he has all the potential to adjust beautifully to home life. His sweet, eager-to-love nature makes him a wonderful candidate for a family ready to give him structure and affection.Fuzzy is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to start his next chapter. If you’re looking for a big, happy, fluffy companion to fill your home with love (and a little bunny-hop entertainment), Fuzzy may be your perfect match. 🐾Fuzzy's Adoption Fee is $108 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
