Story
Theodore is an ~85lb 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix. He is an obedient, playful, affectionate, and mellow puppy. He has good manners and no observed behavioral issues. He loves to play but also has an "off switch". His favorite games are fetch, chase, and tug-of-war.He was raised with cats and has good self-control.Theodore knows an array of commands and consistently respects boundaries. He is very food-motivated and a quick learner.Theodore possesses many skills, including:Basic obedienceCrate trainingLeash mannersGrooming desensitizationPatienceImpulse controlTheodore would do best as an only dog for now, though I could see him having a furry friend in the future, with proper introduction. He does not have any experience with young children, but he is very tolerant and desensitized to touch.Theodore will thrive in a home that is able to help him with further socialization and confidence-building outside of the house. He is truly such an amazing puppy and deserves the best.

Story
Marilyn is one of  many Tennessee stories that tends to haunt the Great Pyrenees breed that is given the task to protect and defend the flocks of a farmer. They are expected to give their life to defend the predators that tend to pray on flocks of farm animals in the dark of night.  What happens to these giants of gentleness and tender nature,  are that they are left with little medical care, heartworm prevention and appropriate food and monitoring.  Marilyn and her daughter Marlee were seen wondering on a remote Tennessee rural highway and not accepting the kindness of people who tried to approach.  They were scared and wary since people had apparently never been kind to the both of them.  Some determined rescue warriors made it their mission to win these two beautiful females over and to hopefully bring them in to a foster home and a rescue who would sponsor them.  It finally happened and Marilyn and Marlee were captured and drive to a wonderful small farm nearby who was owned by an experienced rescue lady.  Now Marilyn and her daughter are spayed  and will be ready for the caring homes that they deserve.    What we see in the personality of this beautiful white 5 year old angel called Marilyn, is that she is about 67 pounds and has many of the attributes of the Pyrenees breed. She is alert and watching and she knows when you are moving around doing chores and will come find you to stay close and oversee your work. We know that this girl will easily learn how to be a family companion who can trust that her humans do not need supervision during the day.  Marilyn is very sweet and loves pats and scratches. Her demeanor is calm and easy going as she patrols fences and checks out her indoor space.  We want this girl to relax and accept her new role of family companion.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 15, 2026, 10:16 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Penny!I'm 1 year old, about 80 pounds, and yes... I am not only a giant girl (XL, if you will) but I'm also a giant snuggle bug. If you're sitting, I want to be next to you. If you're lying down, I want to be on you. I just really love my humans, including little ones!I'm house trained, playful, and an attention seeker - I like being part of everything you do. I did snap at another dog over a water bowl once, so I might prefer being the only dog or having careful management around shared resources.I'll be honest: being left alone is hard for me. I get anxious and sometimes chew things I shouldn't when I'm stressed. I'm not doing it to be naughty - I just really miss my people. With training, structure, and someone who's home more often, I know I can get better. If you're looking for a big, loving shadow who wants to be your best friend, I'm your girl. Come meet me - I can't wait to cuddle. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: White Weight: 58

Story
Pad Thai was adopted after being fostered with his brother at 3 months old. We were not expecting to adopt him, but he really grew on us during our time with him. He is very sweet, patient, eager to please. He is almost 1.5 years old, so still has some puppy tendencies. However, he is very food oriented, and trains easily. He can be very goofy and sometimes forgets that he is a big dog, and not a small lap dog. He has been great around children and our cat. He is protective and will bark at new people, but becomes friendly very quickly after being introduced.
