Story
Hank is the best boy! He was found wondering the streets, either left behind, or lost, but no one showed up at the shelter to claim him. He is so friendly and affectionate and gentle. We believe him to be only about 3 years old and a lean, 70 lbs at this time. He could use a good grooming, but all in all, is jsut an incredible family dog, for folks who like the bigger breeds. Hank is good with everyone he meets and with dogs - we can cat test. SO handsome in person. A must meet, for this great dog will steal your heart, for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take a while. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   October 16, 2026, 7:14 pm

Story
I rescued Nala from Texas about 2 years ago. My plan was to bring her here to Pennsylvania to rehome her, she did end up having a litter of puppies. I got her spayed shortly after that. She does wonderful around other dogs. She just needs more attention and affection and unfortunately I can’t give that to her. She currently lives with 3 other dogs. I have a hard time keeping her fenced in she likes to take off and run around. I have a senior dog that needs more care.

Story
Nickname: Biggie Meet Big Gulp! This sweet girl is one of our gas station girls, and she is ready to leave her past behind and discover just how wonderful life can be. Big Gulp and her sister Slurpee came to us after their owner sadly passed away. They previously lived as outdoor dogs and also lived with cats, but since arriving here, Big Gulp has really started to discover that the indoor life is pretty great! She can be a little timid with new people, but treats, patience, and kindness have helped her come a long way. She can also be a bit selective with other dogs here, but if you have a dog at home, we are happy to set up a dog meet to make sure everyone is a good match. Because she can be a little unsure of new things, older dog-savvy kids or teens may be the best fit for Big Gulp. She’s a sweet girl who just needs someone willing to give her the time and encouragement to blossom!
