Story
🌟 Looking for a New Home for Our Beautiful Great Pyrenees 🌟 Meet Shen-he! 🐾 This gorgeous 3.5‑year‑old, 85‑lb female Great Pyrenees is ready to find her perfect forever family. She’s spayed, healthy, and truly stunning — the kind of dog who could grace a calendar. She’s been a beloved house pet since puppyhood and has never worked livestock, but she carries all the classic GP charm: gentle, independent, loyal, and a natural guardian. 🐾 🌟 Her Best Qualities: 🌸Wonderful with other dogs; she’s the queen of the dog park 🌸Housebroken and crate‑trained (“you know the drill” sends her right in) 🌸Calm, affectionate, and easygoing in the home 🌸Loves porch lounging, car rides, and daily walks 🌸Food‑motivated and responsive to treats 🌸No resource guarding with her dog food 🌸Settles quickly when visitors are welcomed by her humans ✨Comes with her crate, toys, leashes, collars, vet records, remaining preventions, and food. She’ll also be freshly groomed and ready to start her new life looking her best. ✨ 🐾Her Personality: She’s a classic Pyrenees: independent, observant, and happiest when she feels her family is safe. She enjoys roughhousing for a few minutes each day but never gets out of control. She eats politely and slowly — unless she finds unattended human food, which she considers a prize worth keeping. She’s a singer, too. If deer, squirrels, or delivery trucks pass by, she’ll proudly announce it. A home where barking isn’t a problem will suit her well! ⚠️ What She Needs Help With: She is deeply bonded to her primary human and can become overprotective in certain situations. For example, she may bark or jump when someone approaches her favorite person for a hug. This behavior is rooted in anxiety and loyalty, not aggression, but it does mean she could accidentally knock over someone with mobility issues. Because of this, she needs: A confident, experienced dog owner (ideally familiar with guardian breeds), A home without small children or cats would be ideal. Someone willing to work on her overprotectiveness and help her feel secure A stable environment where her barking and alerting won’t be a problem. She’s 95% perfect — she just needs the right home where barking isn’t a problem, and her big heart and big voice are appreciated. 💛 Simply requires someone with the right experience and physical stability to guide her. She will thrive with a family who understands Great Pyrenees temperament, appreciates her guardian instincts, and can help her build confidence. In return, she will offer loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of companionship. 💕 If you or someone you know might be the right match, please reach out. She deserves a home that understands her and loves her for the wonderful girl she is. 📨 happygoluckymastiffrescue@yahoo.com For more information or if interested! Story
Her name is penny, Shes very calm, loves being outside if you are one of her main people she’s very playful. she has been a good dog until we had kids. She growled once when our baby was a newborn for whatever reason I was just hoping it was because she never seen one before and was confused. For awhile after that 2 years maybe she was fine with the kids then she snapped at one of my kids today and that& wasthe last chance I can give her, I am not taking anymore chances. We have another dog that she plays with perfectly fine and we have a cat that she chases around and plays she has never hurt the other two animals. She gets a little food defensive but never has done anything other than stare at her bowl and growl. She’d be best for someone without kids. If you have other pets I’d introduce cautious I only say that because she’s only met a few dogs other than my other one.
