Story
Eclair was pulled from a high kill facility that reach out to us for help. She is the sweetest girl, and they just couldn't have that happen. Upon arrival at this facility, it appeared that Eclair had a leg injury, perhaps hit by a car at some point, but was walking fine. She was covered in fleas n ticks and very thin. Upon her arrival at our vet the x-rays would show a more serious injury; two of her vertebra looked like they had been crushed and fused together as they were healing. The vets didn't understand how she was still walking. She is not in any pain and does have limited use of that leg but get around and plays just fine. Vets say she would have a normal life but just would have limited use of that leg. This little miracle girl is the best. She loves other dogs, loves toys, knows some commands, is crate trained and listens well. Should make the best companion for the right person. Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Ahoy! I'm Smee, and just like my namesake from Peter Pan, I'm on the hunt for my very own Captain Hook... except I'm hoping mine comes with treats, belly rubs, and a forever home! Born in November 2025 and weighing around 70 pounds, I'm a big, goofy puppy with the sweetest heart. People say I look like a little cow—not just because of my adorable black-and-white markings, but because I'm built like one too! My size might be impressive, but I'm really just a gentle giant who wants to be close to my people. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I LOVE water. Kiddie pools, stock tanks, puddles—you name it! My favorite pastime is climbing into a water tank, sinking down until I'm completely submerged, and leaving just my eyes above the surface like a little alligator. It's guaranteed to make you laugh. When I'm not making a splash, you'll usually find me carrying around a toy or convincing someone to play a game of tug-of-war. I get along great with other dogs and love having canine friends, but if you ask me what I love most, the answer is easy: people. I'm the definition of a loyal companion. I'll happily rest my big head on your shoulder or in your lap, soaking up all the love you're willing to give. Even though I'm still a puppy (which means I have the occasional silly puppy moment), I'm surprisingly laid-back and easygoing. I'm also working hard on my potty training, and I'm doing a fantastic job! I'm eager to learn and even more eager to make my family proud. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate, water-loving best friend with a heart as big as he is, then I just might be your perfect first mate. All I need now is a family to call my own.
