Maggie was found as a stray along with sister Missy. The two were taken in by HOT-PAWS and currently house together. This big girl fosters in a home with kids of all ages and has been good around all. She has also been good around others dogs, but is not so good with cats, and poultry. This girl rides well in the car, walks fairly well on a leash, crates okay and enjoys spending time outside. She does require a secure fence to keep her safe. Maggie would like to find a home to call her own, with or without her sister.

Story
Meet Deziray Rebel (aka "Floof")! This 6-year-old gentle giant needs a forever home after her beloved mom—a passionate mental health advocate—suddenly passed away. We took Desi in, but between our newborn and our own dog not getting along with her, she needs a home that can give her the undivided attention she deserves. Desi is the ultimate cuddle bug! She loves laying on you for hours, playing with her toys, and offering incredible emotional support. She’ll stand in your corner, just like her mom did for so many. She is potty-trained (she'll let you know!) and is a trustworthy, wonderful house guest when left to free-roam. A few quirks: she dislikes crates, needs a little space from other dogs while eating, and is a sneaky counter-surfer! She will also need her vaccines updated and a spay. Desi would thrive with a fenced yard. Whether you're a family or someone seeking a loyal companion for mental wellness, Desi is ready to heal your heart.

Story
Meet Wyatt This lovable knucklehead is Wyatt—a goofy, playful, and endlessly huggable guy with a luxurious golden coat you’ll want to sink your fingers into. We think Wyatt is a Great Pyrenees and Shepherd mix. He’s on the smaller side for those breeds, but he loves his meals and is holding steady at around 55 lbs. Though he’s full-grown, Wyatt has kept all the playful energy of a pup. He loves to chase and roughhouse with his foster dog siblings, and he’s happiest when he’s part of the fun. Wyatt’s looking for a home that loves a little silliness, a lot of fur, and a whole lot of heart.

Story
Oliver’s story is nothing short of remarkable. He was rescued from the side of I-45, scared and scruffy, but has since blossomed into a soft-coated, golden-furred lovebug who is ready for his forever home. At 2.5 years old and weighing around 70 lbs, we've taken all the hard work out raising a puppy. One of his siblings was DNA tested and came back 67% Great Pyrenees and 33% German Shepherd, and that mix fits him perfectly. He has the gentle, affectionate nature of a Pyrenees paired with the loyal, people-focused personality of a Shepherd. He even sports a cute curl in his tail. No double dew claws here, just extra charm. Ollie’s favorite things in life are simple and sweet: • Being close to his people • Soaking up affection • Giving gentle, soulful love He’s the kind of dog who leans into you, quietly asking to be loved, and once he trusts you, he’s all in. Oliver would thrive in a home ready to offer consistency, affection, and room to grow into the incredible dog he’s becoming. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Greg is a handsome fluffball who found his way to our rescue. He was exceptionally sweet and once he got to know our environment, he chose this place to be his temporary home. He is a gentle giant and shy at first but is super playful with his buddies. He tends to sunbathe any chance he gets but will great all of his humans to second, they show up. Greg just enjoys to company of a companion rather than being affectionate, but that doesn't stop him from being the biggest sweetheart imaginable.
