Story
Hello, my name is John, and I am needing to rehouse our dog Blondie, he is a sweet and playful dog that we rescued off the streets, he was pretty thin but friendly, he is skiddish about getting in vehicles or putting a leash on him, so getting him to the vet for shots or anything was a chore, and I am by no means a dog trainer. Hes overall good with my kids, but he gets a little excited sometimes and will jump on them not aggressively, im atleast able to voice him to stop. He also doesn't do well with loud noises like fireworks, gunshots and thunder, anytime a bad storm comes through, holiday or (live in rural texas) somebody shoots a gun, he is going to find a way out of the backyard. Landlord policy says we can have only one dog, they kind of let it slide for awhile since we were just trying to help, didnt exactly set a date, but the sooner the better I guess. His shots should still be up to date, I believe they have to be done every 3 years, I've lost track of the actual date.

These pups are in Texarkana, Texas too!

Story
Application link https://forms.gle/mtaWGXgjgBRLat1T7 Our mother was found in a barn after giving birth to the 12 of us on October 10th. Mama was so exhausted, weak and hungry and most of all scared. Her milk was not even enough for the 12 of us because she had been abandoned and left on her own while we were growing in her tummy, but we nursed anyway just thankful for her warmth and her repeated licking and snuggling to comfort us. The kind loving Huddleston family found us and contacted Greg King Canine Recovery Dog Rescue for help. Our mom got all the food she needed and even learned to start trusting humans again! We are now weaned, (Mom says she could not be happier about that) and eating all the puppy food our tummies can hold. All I need is my own person, because the 12 of us have to share 2 people and we have to stay at the farm by ourselves while they are at work. I get very lonesome. Date of Birth October 10, 2025 The total cost of adoption is $175 Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 7 locations on our transport route. The $100 adoption fee is not due until you pick him/her up on the transport date at the location you select on the "Transport Roster Form" You also have the option to designate someone else to pick up your pet as long as we know in advance. If you haven’t yet seen our Facebook Reels of past adoptions and transports, please do so. The mother dog was a pregnant stray that had her 12 babies in a barn that provided warmth and safety and then food and love once they were discovered. We started NeoPar vaccinations and dewormers at 5 weeks. Puppies receive 3 puppy shots before they are transported. We provide a folder for you to take to your veterinarian when you pick up your puppy with medical records/information. Dominant breed information is based on physical traits of parents and puppies. Mother dog looks like an Anatolian Shepherd/Kangal Shepherd, possibly Boxer mix and we believe that daddy is a Great Pyrenees. Greg King Canine Recovery dog rescue is located at 484 Farren Road in Texarkana, Texas 75503. Once a month, we transport all pre-adopted dogs and puppies to the following 7 cities because all of the shelters in our area are kill shelters, so we try to save all that we can by getting them adopted and transporting them to their new homes. Because it is a 1000 mile transport one way, we have to leave Texarkana, Texas the day before you are scheduled to pick up of your new dog or puppy. I will provide a live Google Map link in order that you may follow our travel progress to pick up at one of these seven locations on our transport route, or if I have to stay at the rescue to care for all of our rescues, I will give you frequent updates of the transport's travel progress. Poplar Bluff, Missouri Arnold, Missouri Springfield, Illinois Bloomington, Illinois Rockford, Illinois Joliet, Illinois Kalamazoo, Michigan Please contact me, Latrell King, at 903-280-4233 for adoption questions. Please send a text before calling and then leave a voicemail because I don’t usually have my phone with me when I’m taking care of the puppies, cleaning kennels, feeding, vaccinating, etc. Cell phones are not puppy proof. I will return your call or respond to your message ASAP. I will explain the process with the approval of your application.
