Story
Meet Boisie – Your Oversized Lap-Loving Teddy Bear 🐻❤️At a graceful 9-plus years young, Boisie the Rottweiler is proof that love only gets better with age. Rescued from Collin County Animal Services, this spayed girl came to Hillcrest Animal Rescue longing for a soft couch, steady head rubs, and a human of her very own—and she returns every ounce of that love ten-fold.Why we adore her:Heart of gold: Boisie thinks affection should be a full-time job. In her early days she’d gently “hold” your hand or sleeve if you dared quit petting, but she now understands “no” and waits (semi-patiently!) for the next round of snuggles.Couch companion: Give Boisie a running start and she’ll launch her 100-pound frame onto the sofa—or even the bed—just to rest her massive head in your lap while you binge TV.Dog-social—just super-sized: She’s polite with other dogs, yet her strength means slow introductions and mindful supervision are a must.Nap queen: When she’s not glued to your side, you’ll find her snoozing contentedly in a sunbeam, recharging for the next cuddle session.Ideal homeBoisie will thrive in a calm household that appreciates a senior dog’s easygoing pace. A family prepared for her size—and the occasional bed-shaking hop-up—will be rewarded with endless devotion, soulful brown-eyed gazes, and the warmest “weighted blanket” you’ll ever own.Health & adoption detailsSpayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negativeAdoption fee includes a senior-wellness blood panel and a starter bag of her favorite foodIf you’ve got a cozy couch, a gentle hand, and room in your heart for a loving, lumber-sized shadow, Boisie is ready to make your golden-years together unforgettable. Story
Hanky Panky is one of those Saint Bernards that we will never forget for the rest of our lives. He has the temperament and look that every Saint should have. He is not a young boy, but he is not an old man. He has a beautiful short hair coat. We think he is approximately 5 years old. Hanky Panky loves attention, will walk right by your side, knows how to sit and is great with all dogs. He will make you smile every day. He weighs 135 pounds, and he is heartworm positive. St Cloud’s rescue has already neutered him, and he is on the slow kill method for the heartworms. This will take between 6 months to a year to complete. He is having some intestinal issues that may be due to his medication for the heartworm treatment. He is house trained. He does have a sensitive stomach and we are working to find the food that works best for him the best. He should weigh about 150 pounds when he is healthy and eating properly. He loves toys but he can’t have toys because he has a tendency to eat them. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $350.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Saint Bernards can not tolerate the Texas heat.

Story
Peaches is a 1–2-year-old spayed female full Saint Bernard.  They have her birthday listed as September 2024. However, we really don’t have 100% confirmation that that is correct.  Miss Peaches should have been named Mahogany. She has the most gorgeous, thickest plush coat that we have ever seen on any Saint Bernard.  Miss Peaches is sweet, kind, loving, gorgeous and a joy to be around.  She is 100% house trained and loves attention.  She knows basic commands; however, more training is always recommended, both for the dog as well as building a bond with the new owners.  She weighs approximately 100 pounds and has received all of her shots.  However, she is heart worm positive.  We have started her on the slow kill method of getting rid of heart worms.  This will take anywhere from 6 months to a year to complete.  This is a much more humane and safe process.  She has received all her vaccinations.  If you are wanting one of the most gorgeous Saint Bernhards that we have ever had, please consider meeting Miss. Peaches. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily.
