Duchess was in a small, high-kill shelter when we came across her information. Her eyes were so infected that she could not open them, and the shelter had posted her as being blind. Our vet discovered that Duchess doesn’t produce tears, and the chronic dry eye had been untreated for so long that her corneas were damaged and infected.This sweet girl was initially so shut down that she had to remind herself what a special dog she is. We are trying our best to save her eyes; she gets two types of medicated drops twice a day and artificial tears as often as possible. She has learned to let her foster clean her eyes and is good about getting her drops. She is now able to see, although not as well as we hope she will as we progress. She will need eye drops ongoing. Duchess now plays with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys running around her yard. Her very favorite thing is getting attention and spending time with her humans. She wants to devote herself entirely to her family and take care of them. This girl is a wonderful Doberman and an ambassador for the breed.She is house trained, can use a doggie door, or ask to go outside if she doesn't have one. She is fine being left home alone or with her canine friends, but would rather go wherever her human is going. She’s great at going for rides and would be the perfect travel companion. Duchess is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed, on flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.

Age: approx. 18 months Weight: 50 lbs    Say hello to Tony, a Boxer/Catahoula mix with a million-dollar smile, a goofy sense of humor, and enough charm to light up any room.   Tony was found stray and spent eight months at a city shelter before his foster rescued him. He's now resting comfortable waiting for his forever family where we've learned that he's fully potty trained and takes treats oh so gently.    Tony is a social butterfly who loves people and greets the world with enthusiasm and a constantly wagging tail. Playtime is his jam. Whether it’s toys, zoomies, or just showing off his silly personality, he knows how to make everyone around him laugh. He’s the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into adventures and quiet moments into cuddle sessions. If you have another dog, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure their play styles and personalities are a good match. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his rabies and core vaccinations, and heartworm negative.
