HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome, healthy and rugged 9-1/2-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle in the evenings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with dogs I know (especially female dogs around my size), I can be reactive on a leash toward dogs I don't know. However, I really do like female dogs - I currently love to hang out and go on walks with my girlfriend Darla, a Doberman. And I love human attention and affection - I love to hug and be hugged! I'd do well with a strong owner, too. I weigh about 80 lbs. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M GEORGE. Why doesn't anyone want me? I'm a sweet 9-year-old Rottweiler-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter a couple of years ago, where I shared a kennel with another dog. I am a mellow, older boy who needs a soft bed and a loving owner. I was abandoned by my previous owners and have done nothing to deserve that, but am ready for a new start in life. I will make a wonderful companion for someone who can be my companion. I have some arthritis but I am on glucosamine treats and they work wonders! I weigh about 74 pounds. If you can foster or adopt me, please email for an application.

Hello, this is MAX, 4 years old and 84 pounds. MAX and his son TYSON were owner surrendered because the owner was divorcing and could no longer care for them. Both are a little underweight but they are gaining it back quickly as they have healthy appetites! MAX is very friendly and has no aggression in any area. He is curious about other dogs and does well interacting with them. He has been in the home with a man and his wife and gets along with everyone. It has been a pleasure watching him play with toys and get acquainted with being in the house. This is a guy who would love to have a home of his own and he would be a loving and loyal companion.
