Brandon is a 5 1/2 year old St, Bernard mix. He is a gentle giant. He is a little standoffish when meeting a new person(s). He is very affectionate once he knows you. He loves rubs and scratches. Brandon loves going for walks and checking out the many play yards here at the ranch. He is very mellow. He would thrive in any size family. He follows commands and is eager to please. Story
Maple’s young life has already been filled with far too much uncertainty. Her mom and litter siblings were originally dumped and left living outside before they were rescued and brought in. While the rest of her family found homes, we were heartbroken to learn that Maple had been brought into another shelter as a “stray" just a few weeks ago. Sadly, her adopter had rehomed her, and Maple once again found herself abandoned and displaced. With two dump situations and multiple transitions in just ten months of life, it’s no surprise that the world can feel overwhelming to her sometimes. Even so, Maple continues trying her best every single day.At just 10 months old, Maple is still trying to figure out this big, overwhelming world around her. Made up of several working breeds, she’s incredibly intelligent, full of energy, and constantly searching for direction—but underneath all of that is a young dog who simply wants to feel safe, understood, and loved.Maple can be timid when faced with new experiences and will need a patient, committed home willing to help her work through her fears at her own pace. When she gets excited, her playful side bursts out in full force. She loves to play, though she doesn’t quite understand how big she is yet and can be a little rough with humans while having fun. We’re helping her learn better manners and appropriate ways to channel all of her enthusiasm.Maple will need training, structure, guidance, and someone truly dedicated to helping her grow into the dog she’s meant to be. Herding breed experience is highly encouraged, as her nippy tendencies and working-dog instincts could easily turn into unwanted behaviors without proper leadership and consistency. But Maple is worth the effort. Beneath her uncertainty and busy mind is a dog with endless potential—a loyal companion just waiting for someone to believe in her. She needs a home willing to see past the rough edges, celebrate the small victories, and help her discover that the world doesn’t have to be so scary after all. Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Meet Tig, my lovable, affectionate, gentle mini giant. She was the leader of the three sisters when they came over from eastern Washington. She was the first to use the dog door and the first to kennel up for meals. She has always been so smart and adaptable. She made it easy because her sister's followed her lead. I didnt have to show them anything because of Tig. Now she is her own girl looking for her own special person. Story
Meet Bree. She is a gentle giant around here. Good natured, calm and playful she is easy to hang out with inside the house and out. She has followed my escape artist out through a hole in the fence and all I had to do was call her and she came to the gate and trotted back in. So great recall and not really wanting to go and explore the world. She plays with the other dogs and checks in with me when I'm in or around the house. She has started to hang out at the barn while i'm feeding the horses. She is a little shyer than her sister Tig, but she is coming out of her shell as she grows up. Bree knows how to use a doggie door, is potty trained, she is up to date on her shots and spayed. She kennels up by herself for meals and sometimes sleeps in her lennel at night. It would take time and patience to get her used to being on a leash. Story
Tonka is a 100+ teddy bear that would love to be your go everywhere companion. That unfortunately we just not have the time to give him the attention he deserves. He is always up for playing with anyone or anything. He loves others dogs to the extent that ever dog he passes by he feels the need to stop and play. He will need a fully fenced yard, and some manners training, but he is a quick learner if you are consistent and have the time to work with him. He is currently eating 6 cups of food a day, however when he is neutered this should go down. He will be neutered before going home with anyone, and fee is negotiable for the right home.
