Story
EDITDue to her ways, we have changed her description to Greyhound/pointer. She seems to have more of a greyhound body and she has begun to POINT at birds. We rarely have a dog who would make a good first dog, but Myla would be the perfect candidate!I believe she would prefer to be the ONLY CHILD and get all the attention. She absolutely loves men (She's really a huge flirt!!!) more than women and adores children of both genders.Myla is house-trained, good on lead, loves to walk, is too nosey with the cat so I would say a BIG NO to a cat or any small animal since whippets have severe prey drive; she's good with RESPECTFUL kids (who know how to treat a dog); great family dog, prefer a fenced yard to play and romp in but fine in an apartment if she got exercised a lot. She's crate trained and a quiet girlie. From the foster Mom: "Myla loves belly rubs, going for walks, and relaxing with her human. She would appreciate a home that took her out to exercise and explore.... She already knows basic obedience including sit, down, shake, and walks very nicely on a leash. She's respectful of furniture and doesn't jump. She is house and crate trained as well..." Apply for this very good girl atMadisonarf.orgShe is, of course, completely vetted.

Story
Meet DJ! DJ is a handsome 3-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with long legs, a lean 50-lb frame, and the sweetest personality. He’s the most laid-back of his siblings and loves nothing more than being right by your side. DJ is playful, food-motivated, and enjoys his toys (though sheets and tents don’t always stand a chance ). He does wonderfully with kids and cats, but would do best as the only male dog in the home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped. and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250.  DJ’s story is extra special. His mom was rescued from an abuse situation by animal control and gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies while in the pound. Thankfully, the whole family was brought to safety with the rescue, and now DJ is ready for a forever home of his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an easygoing spirit, DJ might just be your perfect match! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143January 17, 2026, 7:01 pm
