Story
This is my sweet girl Mānuka. She is a sweet, loving, goofy, and energetic dog. We rescued her from the LA fires 3 years ago. She’s about 5 years old. Unfortunately she has PTSD from the fires and has extreme anxiety with loud noises, chaotic spaces, and gets anxious on leash when other dogs are around. She’s good with dogs but comes off too strong when on leash. (She’s living with 2 dogs) Unfortunately her anxiety makes it extremely hard around the winter time due to weather and with our newborn in the house it has been a lot for us. She doesn’t bite kids but isn’t good about her surroundings and runs our boy over many times. It’s accidental and she tends to do it more when she’s anxious. She has a lot of energy and needs frequent walks and or would benefit from someone super active. She loves the woods and hiking. She does extremely well in quieter, peaceful areas like the woods. She’s a great listener but just needs someone who is patient and who can help her through her anxiety.
