She’s a happy, bubbly girl who greets the world — and everyone in it — with a wagging tail and an open heart.She absolutely loves people, is great with children, and is small dog friendly, making her a wonderfully easy addition to just about any home. Sally has that rare, all-rounder nature — affectionate, gentle, and full of life without ever being too much.When she’s out and about, her playful side shines. She adores a good zoom around the pens, stretching her legs and enjoying every second — but she’s not hyper, just happily energetic in bursts. Back in her kennel, she’s the complete opposite: often found snoozing on her back, legs in the air, completely relaxed and content.Sally does have a slight limp, but it doesn’t define her in the slightest. Duke is a sweet natured little boy. He is friendly and outgoing, and absolutely loves chatting to people out on walks. He’s a sociable chap and wags his tail at everyone who approaches. He is quiet and relaxed at home in the kennels and comes to life when he’s out and about. He walks well on the lead and loves exploring. He is interested in everything! He is a good traveler. He’s a handsome boy with beautiful eyes! He’s a very young boy so is still learning about life. Hehas taken everything in his stride so far though. Duke has met children while out on walks and he loves the attention from them. He is a kind natured and gentle dog, so he could learn to live in a house with dog-savvy children. He is small in stature and is well mannered. He hasn’t lived in a house with children before so he would need time to adjust, but he will be happy to soak up all the attention.Duke has met medium sized dogs out walking and has basically ignored them. He’s more interested in people. He is fine with my whippet and with proper introduction with muzzles on he should be happy to live with any size of dog. He would enjoy the company.Duke is a lovable little character who will fit in to most homes. He is adaptable and has a calm nature. He does enjoy company though, and would not like to be left at home alone for long periods of time. A doggy companion would probably help him with this. He would enjoy being part of a family with older children but would equally enjoy an adult only home. He just wants to be loved and part of the action!He would love to keep someone working from home company. He is happy to laze around in between walks. He is not a very high energy dog. He is well mannered on the lead and is sociable. He will probably be a little quiet when he arrives in his new home but once settled his gorgeous personality will shine through.Duke never raced. He has flat feet but that doesn’t bother him. He is fit and healthy. Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue.
