Story
Vixen's adoption fee is sponsored! Vixen is a 2 year old Podengo who spent her life up until March 2026 outside in Southeastern MA. She was used for rabbit hunting but her owner realized that he was a little overwhelmed with the amount of dogs so he surrendered a few of them to us. She is now ready for an adoptive or foster home! She is crate trained and house trained. She is good with cats, dogs and children! She can be a little nervous around fast moving and loud people and kids, so older children would be best. Her ideal home would be on the quieter side. For more info on fostering her or adopting, email us or fill out an application under Adopt at unfurget.org unfurget@gmail.com We supply their crate, food, toys, bed, walking gear etc. so there isn't anything you'd need to purchase!

Story
Foster Needed: We need a foster before we can take this dog in from the outdoor situation that she is living in. Sally is an 8-year-old Podengo, 30 lbs, who has spent her life outdoors and was used for rabbit hunting in Southeastern MA. She is ready to be surrendered by her owner, but we need a foster home for her to go to. If you're able to commit to 2 weeks, please visit our website at unfurget.org and check out the Foster section. We provide everything you'll need. We will give you a crate as well as diapers so that while she is learning how to be in a house, she doesn't make any messes. You'd have to be available to crate her overnight and when you're not home. When you are home during the day, she should go outside to the bathroom every 2–3 hours for a pee break.
