Story
Age: Ranging from 18 months - 6 Years Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Older Energy Level: High Adoption Fee: $1000.00 Any other info: Four breathtaking souls have crossed an ocean in search of something they’ve never truly known: safety, kindness, and love. These four stunning Spanish Galgo beauties were rescued from heartbreaking conditions in Spain, where life was anything but gentle. Used and discarded, they survived more than any dog ever should. And yet… here they are. Soft eyes. Tender hearts. Still willing to try again. Now safe in America, they are learning what it means to rest without fear. To be spoken to kindly. To feel a gentle touch. Understandably shy and nervous at first, they watch the world carefully but beneath that caution lives sweetness that will absolutely bloom with patience and time. Every small tail wag, every brave step forward, is a victory. Galgos are known for their quiet elegance, soulful eyes, and incredibly gentle spirits. These four embody all of that and more. They don’t need perfection — they need compassion. They need calm homes, loving hands, and families willing to give them the TLC they have always deserved. After the unimaginable lives they’ve endured, it’s their turn for soft beds, warm blankets, and a forever that feels safe. With patience and love, they will reward you with the kind of devotion only a rescued heart can give. They have survived. Now they are ready to live. * Ari is a 5 year old light brindle girl with a gray face. She is the most nervous of the girls and needs a very calm home to help build her confidence. She is on some medications to help with her anxiety while she adjusts. She seems to do better with women and is very sweet once she knows she is safe with you. * Ligera is a stunning 2 year old female, mostly black with adorable white back feet. She is nervous but comes around quickly especially with patience and tasty treats. * Lupita is 18 months old and although she is shy and nervous, she is outgoing once she is comfortable with you. She was in a home doing well with cats but was not comfortable cuddling with the cats so she may need a home without feline friends. * Rocio is a stunning blonde brindle girl who is 6 years old. She is shy and nervous but outgoing and very friendly once she knows she's safe and tasty treats are the way to her heart. She can be reactive at times and may do best in a home without children. All of these stunning girls are spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. They have all been around other dogs and all need a calm loving home to show them what it means to be a part of a family.
