Story
Doc is a confident, independent boy who enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace. He is approachable, calm, and easy to lead, showing comfort and confidence in new environments. During assessments, Doc was observed happily curled up on a bed on his own, content to take time and explore without stress. While he is friendly and approachable, Doc tends to focus more on his environment than on constant human attention. Handling is simple, and he shows no signs of resource guarding. Physically, Doc is in great condition with no concerns noted. Doc recently joined a geyhound group walk and met a few small dogs, including an Italian Greyhound. He was gentle and had no reaction. He walks great on lead and barely notices squirrels on his walks. He has not been introduced to cats but based on observations with small dogs and squirrels, he may be cat workable with the right introductions and training,Doc would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, confident, and independent companion, someone who can give him space to explore and settle while offering affection and guidance when he seeks it.

Story
"Diesel is a playful, people-focused boy who truly thrives on human connection. He’s confident, affectionate, and loves being part of the action, happily coming when called and seeking out attention from his favorite people. Diesel enjoys engaging with those around him and forms strong, loyal bonds with his family. Diesel is an enthusiastic walker who enjoys getting out and exploring his surroundings. He is alert and curious, especially around other dogs, and does best with calm, confident handling and continued guidance. He responds well to food motivation and redirection, making him a great candidate for ongoing training that will help him continue to build his skills and confidence. Because Diesel can become excited around other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can fully enjoy being the center of attention and develop a strong, focused bond with his owner. In the right environment, this allows his affectionate and fun-loving personality to really shine. With a medium prey drive and good responsiveness, Diesel would thrive in an experienced home that can provide structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. For the right adopter, Diesel will be a loyal, engaging, and entertaining companion who brings both fun and affection to everyday life."
