Story
Meet Arthur—though if you remember Slinky Dog from the Toy Story movies, you may feel like you already have! This short-legged, long-tailed hound mix is only beginning to realize his greatness. He is walking on a leash and nearly housetrained. Arthur will benefit from structure and routine (walk, eat, sleep, repeat!), and will grow into his best doggie self with patient leadership and consistent direction. Arthur would do best in a home without children, and we are not sure about other animals, because he is rather selective about who he likes. He will need time to slowly get to know you, and several visits as he is not the most confident pup. Arthur is ready to start his amazing new life.DOB 2/28/2023 30 Pounds (and growing)I'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Molly is an approximately 5 year old beagle mix who currently weighs about 40 pounds. Her ideal weigh is about 25 to 30 so she is in need of a weight loss plan. Molly is working on her potty training and will tolerate crating but is very rarely if ever crated. She mostly ignores cats and is dog selective. Molly came to us with her 7 couple day old puppies from rural Kentucky. She is considered semi feral by her foster mom but can be handled and is non aggressive.  If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Clicking the "Ask About" button does not submit an application. It only submits a question which will delay an application submission.    All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older) and microchipped. We do not ship or transport.  If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an online application here: www.heartlandsmallanimalrescue.org/canine-application.html ##1190559##
