Story
No better option than adoption! Max is seeking his forever home and family!  Max is a young 31-pound boy with a beautiful short haired coat!  He is a bit of a “Heinz 57” – we think his breeds include Terrier, Hound and Beagle! He is very energetic, happy-go-lucky, determined, spirited, expressive, playful and loves to cuddle.   He is extremely treat-motivated and very gentle when taking his treats. Max is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained.  He has been through a 4-week intense training program to help with his manners. His training comes with forever “touch ups” if the adopter is willing to travel to the Charlotte area. Max is very much a puppy at heart and needs love, patience and needs his person to continue his training.  His perfect home is one without small kids or other small animals. Max loves to be the center of attention. He’d love to be your one and only and give you all the love you could handle but has learned to share at boarding and with his foster sister.  Max would love to live with somebody who is active and wants to go on long walks and hikes with him, but also has a fenced in yard for him to run and get all his energy out. Max loves the outdoors – whether it’s going out to chill on the patio, where he will flop over as if saying “this is the spot, I am not leaving” or whether his person is taking him running or hiking.  Max also loves to swim! Once he gets all his puppy energy out, he is ready to cuddle and chill while binge watching Netflix or your favorite sports team – he’s a great television watching companion and can’t wait to cheer on your favorite team with you. If you think Max sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.com April 26, 2024, 10:28 am
