Dog's Name: Skittles Gender: Female Current Age: 2 years Current Weight: 40lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Beagle Mix Energy Level: Medium-High Dog Friendliness: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendliness: Unknown Kid Friendliness: Yes to kids 8 years old or older Good fit for an apartment? No Physical Fence: Physical fence required, any height Crate Trained: Skittles is crated at night, for meals and for an hour or two during the day Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home / Adopter: Skittles would love a family with another dog and/or children 8 and older who can help her explore and burn some energy. The more people and dogs to play with, the better! She is active, loves to run, jump and chase a ball. Skittles would make a wonderful running and hiking partner. Likes: Play, fetch a ball, explore, snuggles and nap. Repeat. Preferably several times a day. Skittles loves balls and fluffy toys. Dislikes: Skittles whines some if left alone and very much prefers to be with her humans or another dog, or at least be able to see them. Additional considerations: Skittles will make a great family dog and/or companion for another dog in the home. What makes this dog special? Skittles is estimated to be 2 years old however, she is very much like a puppy. Skittles is that friend who is the life of the party and never wants to miss meeting or spending time with everyone at the party! Skittles can scale a set of stairs two at a time and will likely be a kangaroo in her next life as jumping is in her blood. She's goofy, playful, snuggly and has never met a human or dog she doesn't like. Snuggle time is a must and she will gently nudge her way under your arm for maximum snuggles. Skittle's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##2110530##

Dog's Name: Samuel L Jackson Gender: Male Current Age: 1 year Current Age Range: Young Adult (6 months to 1 year) Current Weight: 28lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Beagle Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendliness: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog. He is an escape artist, so younger kids might not be able to keep him in. Likes: He loves belly rubs, snuggles, being carried, peanut butter kongs, zoomies, walks on quiet streets, playing with dog friends, playing with children, carrying socks, sleeping on the couch, he's ok in the car, yogurt snacks, sleeping on soft beds, being down on the floor with him, looking at his reflection in mirrors/windows Dislikes: He doesn't like being alone and is working on the crate. He does not like loud noises or big crowds. Samual is the sweetest dog. He's working on "down" because he loves uppies SO much. He understands "no" and "sit" and is learning other commands. He loves to counter surf, so watch your tasty snacks! He loves to learn new things! His toenails are multiple colors and looks like he has an emo mani/pedi!
