Story
Ben is a senior beagle with the heart of a little baby—even at 10-ish years young. He’s very relaxed, incredibly friendly, and has the softest, most gentle eyes. One look from Ben and you can’t help but say, “awww.” He loves receiving pets and attention, and every now and then he’s up for a cuddle too. Ben is very food motivated, but he’s polite and respectful when you’re eating—no rude begging here! Most of his day is spent snoozing like the lazy boy he proudly is. Toys and games aren’t really his thing, but don’t be fooled—he gets very excited for walks and happily perks up when it’s time to head out. Ben is friendly with other dogs and does well with kids, making him an easy fit for many families. He’s crate trained and potty trained, though he may have a little trouble holding it when left alone for long periods. One of his most charming quirks? The way he sits—very funny and guaranteed to make you smile. If you’re looking for a calm, sweet, low-key companion who will melt your heart just by looking at you, Ben might be your perfect match.

Story
Jerry is a 10-year-old senior with a distinguished gray face that might make him look old—but don’t be fooled! He’s still quite athletic and has an impressive jump . This silver fox has plenty of pep left in him. Jerry loves his toys. The very first thing he does when he’s released from his crate is grab his bone chew toy and proudly carry it around. He doesn’t really play with toys so much as hold onto them forever, which is honestly adorable. He can be a bit protective of his toys. He’s a very independent guy who enjoys doing his own thing, but he does appreciate pets when they’re offered. Jerry is incredibly smart and learns commands quickly. He’s also very food motivated, yet polite and respectful when people are eating. On walks, Jerry is friendly with dogs and always gentle with people and kids. He also has an endearing quirk—he sits very funny, which never fails to get a laugh. Jerry is crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy companion. If you’re looking for a smart, gentle, independent senior with personality and charm, Jerry could be the perfect addition to your home.
