Story
🥯 Meet Bagel! ❤️ Bagel is the sweetest little Beagle with a big personality, an even bigger love for food, and a hilarious sassy side that keeps everyone around her laughing. She’s a total class clown who loves her toys, is extremely treat-motivated, and is eager to learn—which makes training her a breeze! Bagel is about 18 pounds and estimated to be 2–3 years old. She knows her basic obedience, has a good recall, is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and can be trusted loose in the house while you’re away. She absolutely loves other animals and must go to a home with another friendly, social dog. Having a canine companion is important for Bagel and will help her continue building confidence and feeling safe. She also does well with gentle kids. Most of the time, Bagel is a calm and easygoing girl, but a few times a day she gets a serious case of the zoomies and proudly shows off her very unique Beagle voice. 😂📣 She can be LOUD when she gets excited, so her forever family should be prepared for some enthusiastic Beagle commentary! Bagel’s story is what makes her transformation so incredibly special. Just a few months ago, she didn’t even have a name—she was known only by an ID number and had spent years in an animal testing facility, living in a cage and learning that human hands meant fear and pain. Today, she’s a goofy, food-loving, sassy little girl who has discovered that people can be trusted and that life can actually be fun. Watching her personality come out has been incredible. ❤️ Bagel can still be timid with strangers and in new environments, so she needs a patient family willing to give her time to decompress and feel comfortable. Once she knows she’s safe, you’ll get to see the funny, affectionate, ridiculous Beagle underneath it all. A home with Beagle experience would be a plus, but it’s not required. What is required is a home with another friendly, confident dog who can be her companion and help show her the ropes. Bagel has come such a long way, and now she’s ready for the next chapter of her life—a forever home where she can continue learning that she is safe, loved, and finally home. 🥯❤️
