Story
I'm a very energetic, sweet girl who likes to be the center of attention. I like long walks and belly rubs. I'm a very good fetcher! I do well in doggie parks and on beaches. I loooooove hikes! I was made for those. I'm a very good listener, and very smart! That's what I've been told, anyway. I'm very good with kids and adults, but I don't like sharing my own home with other dogs too much. I like to show them who’s the boss! I would be great placed in a home with a back yard, with older kids and no other dogs. If you are interested in meeting Dakota, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Dakota's DOB is 11/24/18 and she weighs 60 lbs.] (2011/2306)

Story
Adoption Fee - $150. Age - 3 Years Old. Weight - 25 Pounds. Tricia has been in our care for a while now and has gotten used to us but needs help when it comes to meeting new people. She is currently in a foster home right now and she is learning how to trust more people. She has started to come out and wonder around in her foster home! She is a good girl she does not chew anything up and does great when she is indoors! She just needs someone with lots of time and patience to help her overcome her fears of other people. Tricia is in a loving, experienced foster home. We showed them how to get ahold of her since she just runs away so that they can hold her and pet her so she can start to feel safe. Once she is being held she starts to calm down and enjoy the attention, it's just going to take a lot of time for her to be able to fully open up to people, if ever. Some feral dogs never fully come around. If interested in adopting Tricia, kindly fill out the application found here: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions In filling out this adoption application, I understand that Ozzie and Friends Rescue cannot guarantee that the dog applied for is yours to adopt upon completion of application. We also want to disclaim that all dogs are rescued so we cannot 100% know the exact breed.February 21, 2024, 2:41 pm

Story
Meet Mollie! 🐶💕She was rescued from a Mass Dog Slaughterhouse with other 101 friends at the end of July. Mollie may need help to learn how to behave in a home environment. At first, Mollie did not know how to eat treats. She now even chews a lubber mat in the bottom of her cage. 😊 She always lays her head on the top of her feeding bowl and patiently waits for her kibble. Do you know how cute Mollie is when she peeks out from her cage to see the outside world? It is her signature pose! 🐶❣️ Even though Mollie is energetic, she was so scared when she first stepped out from her cage. She even had to be carried from her first walk since she was frozen during her walk. But now? She eagerly waits for her walking time with a volunteer and explores the nature. If she senses that the volunteer is exhausted, she takes a break from walking and waits for the volunteer to be re-energized. How sweet our Mollie is! 🐕 With a black magic cape she is wearing, Mollie would steal your heart right away. She is ready for any and all adventures ahead of her. Can you be the lucky one who can continue a life journey with this precious girl?🙏

Story
Chuck is a 10 year old good boy that loves walks and naps his two favorite hobbies he loves to eat almost anything he sometimes has his neediness moments for cuddles but most of the times wants the couch all to himself he doesn’t mind you joining him. He was recently adopted from the shelter but due to reasons we can’t control we aren’t able to keep him as much as it hurts before us he lived with his previous family 10 years unfortunately due to them moving they had to surrender him. He’s a very healthy boy and very active for his age. He needs to be watched when with other dogs as he seems to be a little anti social and doesn’t know how to interact at times. Cats are a no go as well as young children. He does super well staying alone if you work he gets super excited once you come back but he hates car rides he loves getting in the car but doesn’t like the driving part fyi. Truly the best nap buddy you can find.
