Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Six-year-old Mosho is a friendly, happy boy.  He arrived with his pal, Cleo, but they can be adopted separately. They came from a home with children. Because Mosho tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, Mosho is recommended for older children, or adults. Mosho is an adept and determined counter-surfer, which his foster home is working on!  His previous owner said that Mosho gets along well with other dogs, but tends to guard high-value food and treats, such as bones, from other dogs. He is, supposedly, not particularly possessive of his regular kibble and his owner reported no guarding behavior with humans. Mosho is potty-trained and is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He has a dental appointment in early April.  Mosho would be great with older kids or an older couple.  He would be fine in a home with a doggie playmate, or as an only dog.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2026, 3:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Luna is a 4 year old, red and white, female basset who weighs 41 lbs. She is super cute! She loves all humans and wants nothing more than to curl up and cuddle with her people. She is usually very calm, mellow, and gentle although her barking can come out at times. She walks well on a leash (although does like to follow her nose- like all bassets) and she does well in the car, both in a crate and out. Her foster mom has had her in a large pen at home at times and she has done well with that too. She is usually very agreeable and listens well. She has no health issues, is housetrained and knows how to use a dog door. Luna can have trouble when first meeting new dogs. She may growl and lash out, especially when she is feeling protective over human attention or comfy bed space. But she has proven adaptable and will get used to other dogs and even play a little with them. She has been fostered in a dogsitting home with dogs that come and go often. As long as you are careful and patient when introducing her to other dogs, she does fine. She is not good with cats.Luna, at heart, is a people dog and is looking for a close companion who will spend a lot of time with her and give her lots of pets and cuddles.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 20, 2026, 10:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cleo is a  5 1/2 year old female basset, who, along with her basset pal, Mosho, was surrendered to GGBR. Initially timid, Cleo has really warmed up and has become more outgoing in her foster home. Her previous owner mentioned that Cleo is afraid of men, but since there are no men in Cleo's foster home, we can't be sure whether that is still the case. Cleo and Mosho came from a home with children, but because Cleo tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, she is recommended for older children, or adults. Cleo is an adept and determined counter-surfer, which her foster home is working on!  Her previous owner said that Cleo gets along well with other dogs, but has fought with another dog over high-value food and treats, such as bones. She is, supposedly, not particularly possessive of her regular kibble and her owner reported no resource guarding behavior with humans. Cleo is potty-trained and is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. She will be spayed and ready for her new home after March 8, 2026. Cleo would be fine in a home with a doggie playmate, or as an only dog.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2026, 3:09 pm
