Story
5 year old rescue we got as a puppy from a litter that came up from New Mexico through Douglas County Canine Rescue. She has all of her shots, spayed and healthy. It is hard for us to do this, but we had a close call with our 1 y/o son where she snapped at him very closely when he started to crawl over her. There have been similar, less-close calls in the past and we just really don’t want to press our luck. Ideally, she’d go to a calm and relaxing environment with at most 1 or 2 other pets in the household. She does best with dogs her size or smaller. Once she warms up, she is a very sweet and cuddly dog. New environments or people do make her anxious though. With uncommon houseguests she will bark at them at first, but warms up quickly. She does not dig or chew, is great on a leash and loves ear scritches. She is pretty low maintenance and only expects a daily walk and occasional pets. She sheds a low to medium amount. We are willing to wait until the right adopter comes along
