Meet Niklaus!This sweet three-year-old boy with a gentle, tender heart may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a total cuddle bug. He loves going on walks and walks beautifully on a leash. He also gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a great fit for many types of homes.He doesn’t enjoy being in a crate and is still working on being potty trained if left alone for more than 30 minutes, so he would do best with someone who is able to be with him a large majority of the time. He also loves sharing his space with another pet, so he would be happiest in a home with other animals. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily steal your blankets and your heart, this sweet pup may be your perfect match.-From his foster family

Hello, I'm Baron Colby Jack of Sniffington, But you can just call me Colby for short! Despite my big name, I'm a pretty little guy. I came from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. We were all competing for resources in such a small space that we were fighting each other often and many of us are covered in scars from our time living there. We will all need some help learning how to live in a proper house, how to potty outside, how to walk on a leash. We didn't have a whole lot of interaction with people, so some of us are a bit shy, but we all want so badly to trust and be loved. With just a little bit of time and patience in the right home, we will make excellent companions!
