Story
Hi, I'm Mr. Tobias Pickles! Yes, I know my name is a bit silly! My friends and I are from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. We were all competing for resources in such a small space that we were fighting each other often and many of us are covered in scars from our time living there. Since I was brought to VOCAL I have learned a lot of things I was never taught before, like walking on a leash and trusting people. Though, since I’ve never had home experience, I am not housetrained yet. But with some time and dedication it’s definitely something I can pick up on. One thing to know about me is I’m a pretty lazy guy, I prefer to spend a lot of time taking naps and being a couch potato. But I’m also a big snuggler once I know you. It still takes me a little bit of time to get used to new people, but with a little patience you’ll see what a goofy, lover-boy I am.

Story
Hello, my name's Crumbl. 'Cause I'm sweet as a cookie! I'm a gentle boy who just loves people. I get bouncy and excited when people come visit me and I soak up any snuggles I can get! But I also walk well on leash and have a mellow demeaner about me. I came to VOCAL as a transfer from Marion County Animal Services, and on my way out all the volunteers there had nothing but nice things to say about me!

MEET DIEGO! Diego! 4 year old Aussie X basset hound mix Diego is a good boy. Just an all-around happy guy that wants nothing more than to find his happily ever after. He is good with cats, dogs, kids, chickens, goats... Diego doesn't seem bothered by much of anything. He has been living on a local farm and exposed to all sorts of fun and sun. He stays on property and is a good watch dog. He wants to be a couch potato and can be found in the A/C whenever the opportunity allows. He is up to date on shots, microchipped, neutered, HW negative and healthy (he is a little on the plump side). Diego's adoption fee is sponsored for an approved and properly matched home! text 3528436858 for a link to the adoption application. ##1357659##

Story
Hello! My name is GEORGE. I am 3 years old and I weigh 39 lbs. I am also known as the Great Houdini. I have a special skill set including gate unlatching and unauthorized neighborhood surveillance. Why walk through a front door when you can test the structural integrity of a fence, scale a baby gate or latch? I do not run away because I do not love you, I just suffer from a severe fear of missing out on what is going on in the hood. I am looking for an active family with a secure, escape proof set up - Fort Knox or a really tall, buried fence. A family who is willing to keep my brain occupied with puzzles, training and fetch. If this sounds like you, please come and meet me. You should also know that according to my previous owners I get along with cats, dogs, kids and everything in between! I look forward to meeting you very soon!

Story
Hi there! I'm Bakery. I came to VOCAL from MCAS with my ten puppies, all named after breads because they came from me, the Bakery! I was a great mom to all my puppies and now I am ready to return to a normal child-free life! I love people and want to be with my person as much as possible. I'm already housebroken and very polite in a home environment. I walk gently on a leash and enjoy spending time in some sunshine or rolling in the grass. I'm currently in a lovely foster home and excited to find my forever!

Story
Rescued from the forest area, this little girl is lucky to be alive! She is timid and sweet. The good Samaritans that found her had to trap her because she was so afraid. She is doing well with love and kindness and we are working on finding her a forever family. She is young.  With adult teeth but possibly still under a year.  Bailey will need a fenced in property as she is a flight risk.  She will need a SECURED fenced in property.  She is shy at first and scared to trust.  Once you earn her trust she is a silly girl.  She ADORES cats and loves to play with both dogs and cats.  She is a happy little girl but it is evident that she has not lived a happy life before coming to us.  Every new noise, anything new that you introduce her to scares her.  She will need an understanding home. ##2345741##
