Meet Mercury, the fastest dog in the galaxy! He can be found doing the zoomiest of zooms in the yard, bouncing off the couch, and generally being a whirling dervish in his foster home. His little winged paws are always on the move! When it's time to settle, Mercury is working on his snuggle skills and loves to spend time squished up next to his favorite people. Mercury hails from Oklahoma where he was found as a stray. His early beginnings were hard as Mercury struggled with intense mange that required multiple skin scrapes and medicated baths which left Mercury a little unsure of how he felt about new people and hands coming at him. A less than illustrious start, Mercury has come leaps and bounds and is working on improving his confidence every day. Mercury gains a lot of confidence from other dogs, so he would benefit from a confident fur sibling to show him the ropes. A home with another playful dog would be the ideal situation for Mercury, because he is very playful and energetic! Because Mercury is a nervous boy and initially handling might be difficult for him, we are requiring a fenced-in yard so he can go in and out on his own. An adult-only home would be best so Mercury can be the baby for as long as he needs! Introducing Savannah, a remarkable 3-year-old female dog who is truly bomb-proof. Nothing fazes her, not even loud fireworks or floods. Her calm demeanor during stressful situations is truly impressive. One of Savannah's standout qualities is her ease during bath time. She takes it all in stride and makes the whole process a breeze. However, her past experiences have left her with one specific fear - being confined in a kennel for extended periods with minimal exercise. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and she will never have to endure such a lifestyle again. Intelligence is another trait that shines through in Savannah. While she may be new to the concept of living in a house, she is making excellent progress with her training. Occasionally, she may voice her dissatisfaction in her crate, but overall, she has been successfully crate trained. In terms of physicality, Savannah's round shape makes her quite unique. She loves to roll and wiggle around, often choosing this playful mode of transportation instead of walking to her destination. It's not uncommon for her to roll herself right off the couch, with most landings on her head, but she remains unfazed. Her infectious joy and wiggly nature make it difficult to save her from herself. Savannah is a special dog who has overcome adversity and is now ready to find a forever home where she can thrive. Her bomb-proof temperament, intelligence, and joyful personality make her an excellent companion for anyone seeking a loving and resilient canine friend.
