Story
Wagner is an adorable, one-year-old Beagle who found his way to us as a stray after his finder suspected he may have been dumped—plus, he wasn’t exactly winning over the chickens. Despite his rocky start, Wagner has a gentle soul. He can be a bit nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and shows his sweet personality.Like any true Beagle, Wagner has the classic hound nose that leads him on new adventures, which means he can be a bit of a flight risk. A secure home, patient family, and safe environment are essential to help keep him out of trouble and build his confidence.Wagner needs someone who understands that he’s still learning about the world and is willing to help him work through his insecurities. With time, reassurance, and the right guidance, he’s sure to blossom into an amazing companion. We would love to see Wagner find the loving, understanding home he deserves—and we hope that happens very soon!

Story
Oscar is a sweet 6-year-old Beagle with a heart as big as his hound nose. He came to us as a stray, and after speaking with his previous owner, it was decided that Oscar would stay in our care so he can find a home better suited to his needs—specifically, one that can safely contain this curious explorer. Like many Beagles, Oscar loves to follow his nose, so a secure fenced yard or consistent leash walks are an absolute must.Oscar gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is perfectly happy living with cats, too. He does experience some storm anxiety and may try to escape when he hears thunder, so he’ll need a patient, understanding family who can help him feel safe and supported during bad weather.Despite his challenges, Oscar is a gentle, loving boy who just wants a family to call his own. With the right home and a little dedication, he’s sure to thrive. We would love to see Oscar find his forever home soon!
