To keep her safe, warm, and cared for, she was brought into our shelter—and we’re so glad she was. Now, this sweet old soul is ready for the next chapter of her life.Fern is a VERY easy-going girl who does wonderfully with other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash. She has a calm, gentle nature and truly embodies the laid-back charm Beagles are known for. Fern doesn’t ask for much—just comfort, kindness, and a warm place to rest.This lovely lady would be perfectly happy spending her golden years napping on a cozy couch or curled up in a big, comfy dog bed, soaking up love from her people. We would love nothing more than to see Fern find a peaceful, loving home where she can enjoy the rest she so deeply deserves

He looks like he was on his own for quite some time, but he is loving all the pampering he`s getting around here and thinks he`s ready to settle down and be a family man! Jet is sweet, gentle, and only 34 pounds full grown! He is approximately 4 years old and at the perfect age to settle down and acclimate into a new home! This is Ott. He is the calmest, sweetest boy. He was a born here on our farm about 12 years ago. We gave him to a friend as a puppy. That friend has since passed away. We welcomed Ott back to the farm. In his old age that has turned into being more inside than out. Especially during this cold weather. In the last little bit we have realized that our new grandson is very allergic to Ott. Ott needs a retirement home. He seems to be in good health. But he's not young. The family we inherited Ott from has meant the world to me. I need to know that Ott is loved and cared for.

Meet Oscar Meyer!!Oscar Meyer is a lovable 3-year-old Basset mix who is back at our shelter after being adopted. His return was due to some destructive behavior in the home, which we believe stemmed from not being kenneled when left alone. Oscar does very well in a kennel, so we strongly recommend his future family continue kennel use anytime they’re away to help set him up for success.This handsome, goofy-looking boy is mostly housebroken, though he may need an occasional refresher—nothing some consistency and patience can’t handle. Oscar is great with children and truly enjoys human companionship. When it comes to other dogs, he can be a bit selective, so we ask that any potential canine siblings do a proper meet-and-greet here at the shelter to ensure the best match for everyone.Oscar Meyer is full of personality and charm. His heart is as big as his ears, and while his attention span may be as short as his legs, every bit of it is fueled by love. He’s hoping to find a family who understands him, will stick to his routine, and give him the forever home he deserves—very soon
