Beagle Jack Russell Terrier

Male, Adult
Portland, ME
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Spayed or Neutered,
We would love to have the rescue world of adopters meet our Wonderful Woodrow!  This handsome chap is young at just 1 ½ years and is a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix and perhaps just a touch of Beagle thrown in there, also.  He weighs 15 pounds, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, micro chipped and on heartworm prevention. This little guy is a true delight with all the perfect little gentleman manners that include great leash manners, really knows how to be perfect in the house and uses the doggie door or gives strong signals to let you know when he wants to go outside.  To be honest, we think this dog is almost too good to be true!  Woodrow is just so sweet and affectionate and he even gives his friendship away to the cat, who is his new best friend. Woodrow gets along well with other animals, absolutely loves adults and is loving and sensitive with children.   If you have a spot on your lap then Wonderful Woodrow would like to join you for a lifetime of friendship, devoted love and good times filled with laughter.   Please write to us right away before this little nugget of perfection gets away!   Critter Cavalry Rescue at PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 27, 2024, 12:49 pm

Beagle Hound (Unknown Type)

Male, Adult
Portland, ME
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
When you meet Jammin’ Max what first strikes you is his beautiful caramel colored coat of fur and his soft and warmly smiling face.  This dog is incredible as a friendly and happy boy that could be a dog you take anywhere in the world and with any type of experience to encounter together. We think this boy is one of those wonderfully designed Heinz 57 dogs that embodies the breeds of Beagle/Shepherd/Lab…. all a guess but we feel pretty certain on the Beagle/Hound dominance. Jammin’ Max is about 45 pounds and 2-3 years old.  He is fully vetted and neutered.  He is crate trained and housebroken, using a doggie door very well.   Where he is now, they let him sleep on the bed overnight and he does great!  At 6AM he is ready to go outside after a good 7 hours of sleep.  One thing we know for sure:  This dog is all about loving you and “licking” you.  He is amazing as a farm dog that does not bother any of the creatures who live there harmoniously. This boy is pretty perfect and ready to find his final and forever home.   Is that you!?   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at if you can give Jammin’ Max a home!!!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at 27, 2024, 12:49 pm
