Story
MEET CHARLOTTE!STATS: 1 year old, spayed, Beagle Mix, 50 lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am super affectionate and loving but I am not your average beagle! I am a spunky, goofy, playful, and full of personality. I love to roll, romp, and play with the other dogs, but I do have a very loving side when it comes to people!WHAT I LOVE: I love playing in our kiddie pools here – I jump right in and start splashing around. I would be a wonderful lake dog since I love water so much. I also love other dogs, running, and playing with tennis balls.KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would do well in a home with kids that are kind and respectful towards me.OTHER DOGS: I am dog friendly and I go to playgroup every day at the shelter!CATS: UnknownHER MATCH: I would love someone who has both an active side and a cuddly side. I have a lot of energy, so I would do great with either an active family or someone with a yard where I can run my energy out!SPECIAL NOTE: I have all the beauty of a beagle with all the fun loving goofiness of a lab!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in.Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
