Story
Meet Geezer – The Distinguished Gentleman of the Dog World Age: 14 years Breed: Beagle Mix Weight: 15 lbs Adoption Fee: $150 Geezer is basically the canine equivalent of that old man who sits on his porch, muttering about “the good old days” while wrapped in a blanket. He’s not here to impress anyone — he’s just here to exist peacefully, eat his meals, take his naps, and occasionally wander around like he’s got somewhere important to be (he doesn’t). He’s recently started learning how to communicate a little better, but let’s be honest — Geezer’s main hobbies are eating, sleeping, pooping, and being cozy. He does love a good petting session and will happily accept head scratches while pretending not to care. His favorite pastime? Burrowing into a blanket like a tiny, grumpy burrito. When he’s tromping around the yard, he does it with the confidence of a man interviewing for a job he’s wildly unqualified for — and yes, he once ran straight into the house mid-poop mission. Iconic behavior. Despite his age, Geezer is a healthy little guy. He’s housetrained, gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and would make the perfect low-maintenance companion for someone who appreciates the simple things in life — like naps, snacks, and not doing much of anything. Adopt Geezer today and bring home a living, breathing reminder that sometimes, just existing is enough. Apply to adopt at: knoxvintagepetproject.com/adopt

Story
🐾 Meet Echo! 🐾 3 years old • Beagle mix • Adoption fee $150 Great with people (including kids!) • Best as an only dog Apply: knoxvintagepetproject.com/adopt Echo is a 3-year-old vibrant, clever, ridiculously food-motivated little guy with a heart as big as his personality. This boy LOVES people — especially men — and he’s gentle and sweet with kids. He snuggles hard, learns fast, and wants nothing more than to be near his humans. But Echo has had a rough start in life, and he’ll need a patient adopter willing to give him structure, reassurance, and time. ❤️ What Echo Loves: • Being with his humans — he has separation anxiety and struggles being left alone. • Learning new things — he’s smart and picks up commands from his foster siblings quickly. • Food… ALL food — snacks, crumbs, mystery floor items… if it exists, he believes it belongs to him. 😂 Echo’s Quirks (AKA Why He’s Hilarious): • If you leave food unattended, he will find it. He’s basically a furry raccoon with a PhD in counter-surfing. • He can open containers. He can climb. He can strategize. If NASA needs a problem-solver, they can call Echo. • He drinks water like he’s auditioning for a camel role, so he needs consistent potty breaks. We’re still working on him giving us cues, but he is mostly potty trained. 🐶 Home Requirements: • Only dog or with submissive dog — he is protective of his food and treats and doesn’t do well with a dominant dog. • Someone patient who understands he’s learning how to feel safe for the first time in his life. • Someone who can manage his separation anxiety with compassion and routine. 🌟 The Good Stuff: • Great with kids • Fantastic snuggler • Smart, trainable, and food-motivated • Wants so badly to love and be loved • Playful, sweet, silly, and eager to please Echo is a wonderful, loving dog who needs someone who sees past the quirks and into the heart of a dog who never wants to feel hungry or abandoned again. In the right home, he’s going to be an incredibly loyal, funny, affectionate best friend. Ready to meet this smart little foodie? 💛 Apply to adopt: knoxvintagepetproject.com/adopt

Story
🍔🐶 Meet Big Mac Max! 🐶🍔 Big Mac Max is a lovable Beagle mix with the sweetest personality and a heart as big as his smile. Max is about 6 years old and currently weighs 48 lbs, but he’s already on a healthy weight-loss plan with his foster family and working toward a goal of around 35 lbs. He’s doing great and just needs a committed adopter who will continue his diet and exercise routine so he can feel his best. 💪 Max is truly the most delightful houseguest. He’s calm, gentle, and affectionate, and he runs up to every human he meets for pets. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for many homes. When he’s not soaking up attention, he’s happily snoozing or politely letting you know when it’s time to go outside—because yes, Max is house trained! Max is neutered and up to date on all vetting. Once he reaches a healthier weight, he’ll also need a dental cleaning to keep him feeling great from nose to tail. 🐾 Big Mac Max at a glance: • Beagle mix • 6 years old • 48 lbs (working toward a healthier weight) • House trained • Great with dogs, cats, and kids • Adoption fee: $250 📍 Fostered in Knoxville, TN 💛 Apply to adopt Big Mac Max: 👉 knoxvintagepetproject.com/adopt If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who will reward your commitment with endless love and loyalty, Big Mac Max is ready to meet you. 🐾💛
