Story
Toro was the beloved pet of my husband's late Grandmother. She loved small dogs (especially senior dogs) and fostered many. Even Toro came to her as a foster and stayed as her lifelong companion. When she passed, we agreed to take him because we knew it was important to her that he go to a trusted and loving home...But with a new baby and after moving to a 2nd floor apartment, we simply aren't able to care for him the way he deserves. He is used to having open access to a backyard (Grandmother would let the dogs out every 2-3 hours), and he knows to potty outside, but he simply can't hold it very long at his age. He has trouble with his eyes (cataracts, discharge) that we can't afford to treat properly. He is quite old (around 12-14, we think), and we're just looking for someone kind with a clean, quiet home for him to live out his senior years. He's the perfect lapdog and he gets along with just about everybody, including children and other small dogs (but not cats).
