Story
I'm a 7-year-old tricolor Beagle girl with a gentle spirit and a playful streak that keeps life fun. * Sweet, affectionate girl who loves to cuddle * Wonderful companion who is happiest by your side * Happy and cheerful all the time * Gets excited when it’s time for a walk * An absolute gem in the kennel * Looking for a soft bed and a person to snuggle next to * Should avoid strenuous activity while she recovers from heartworm treatment * Ready to be someone’s cozy, loving companion 🐾 I was treated for Heartworm on 8/12 and 8/13. I may still test positive for up to a year following the injections.

Story
Apollo is an almost 6 year old beagle, who will be a fantastic addition to a home ideally with no children unless they are teenagers, that is fairly calm and where there is space for him to run around outside or go on walks. He loves to chase the ball, but likes to make you work for it by only bringing it halfway back 🫣. Chewing and tug of war are his favorite indoor activities! He does tend to nip at smaller children especially when chaos ensues! He has never broken the skin, but has caused some minor small bruising before. He has been around other dogs, but never cats or other animals. He loves to snuggle up on the couch or bed, but definitely does not like to be kept separate or in a crate. He becomes very vocal, and destructive when put up by himself. When able to roam freely, or even left by himself at home when owners are out he is a perfectly well behaved pup. He deserves better than what my home can provide for him currently!

Story
Army is a smaller girl who loves to play, especially if another dog is involved! We suspect this pup is beagle mix of some kind, but a DNA test will be able to give you a more accurate breed. We do know that she will stay on the smaller size full grown, so she is perfect for any living situation. She came from an overcrowded shelter in Southwest Virginia. She is hoping to find a family with other dogs or kids for her to play with! She is also great on the leash! If you would like to meet Army, please submit an application https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/66b189c45d6f9afa2c07afb8/6a733fb8b7270feaed0d2214
