Story

Cortana is a wonderful pup that we found abandoned and abused. She was scared of men but has really calmed down and grown to trust and love again. We took her in and got her back into a healthy state, but we do not have room to keep her permanently. She is great with two very young kids, our large therapy dog, and our 3 cats. I just want her to go to a good home where she can lounge about and be loved. She is up to date on shots and all healthy with no health concerns. I've only got until the 15th of May to get her a home before I need to basically abandon her at a shelter which she doesn't deserve.

Rory was apparently abandoned in a fairly isolated area and sat on the same dirt pile, seemingly waiting for several days, before someone stopped to get him. Despite repeated efforts to find Rory's owners, requisite postings and reports, no owner materialized.  Rory is super sweet, good with other dogs, and did pretty good with the kitties at the rescue center. He is happy to experience all things in life and everything is exciting. Seems pretty smart so with some dedicated training and positive reinforcement Rory will be even more fantastic. ##1764126##

She just can’t seem to get close enough to you! She loves to cuddle, and the more pets she can get the better! She loves to play with toys, but she’s also down to hangout on the couch with you. She knows sit very well, and listens to her name and ‘come.’ She does well in the crate, but would much rather snuggle up to you!CeeCee has plenty of love and energy to give.  She is good with people and other dogs, but has a high prey drive, so not kitties please.  She's a wonderful girl who deserves a couch to call her own.-------CeeCee came to us highly pregnant from a shelter in southern Virginia. She gave birth to her babies shortly thereafter. CeeCee is just a little girl weighing in at only 38 lbs., up to date on all of her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. She is spunky and a very sweet girl, ready to find her forever home.CeeCee is great with people of all sizes and ages CeeCee LOVES childrenCeeCee walks nicely on the leash and loves to go for car ridesCeeCee is house and crate trained and listens well to her name CeeCee and cuddling on the couch? OH YEAH! the closer she can be the better!NO CATS - CeeCee has a prey drive and will chase cats or other small game CeeCee is doing well with dogs but can be get snippy if dogs she doesn't know are forcing their way into her face.
