Story
Meet Ladybug!Ladybug is a sensitive sweetheart with an equally big heart. She loves nothing more than curling up next to her favourite humans -- right after she politely (and sometimes dramatically) reminds you that she could eat again. Although she's convinced snacks are her love language, we encourage Ladybug's forever family work to slim her down a bit through healthy eating habits and active play.Affectionate and expressive, Ladybug would thrive in a calm, cozy home where she can feel safe, adored, and part of the family! Homes with excitable dogs, infants, and young children would not be good matches for her. While strictly an indoor cat, we feel Ladybug would enjoy having access to a catio (or at least a large window) in which to safely experience/observe the great outdoors.Note: Ladybug is polydactyl! As such, she will require more frequent nail trimming to keep those extra beans in check!***We are looking for indoor-only homes. Consider investing in a catio or "cat-proofing" your balcony/deck for safe, outdoor enrichment.***Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Ladybug's person? Apply today!TIP: To aid our team in making the best match possible, applicants are encouraged to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm. Story
Viewable in Shelter: Meet Midnight, a loveable fluffball with a big heart as big as his belly. He may be a bit shy at first, preferring quiet corners and soft blankets, but once he trusts you he'll show his true affection. His favorite hobbies include sunbeam lounging, slow motion zoomies and politely requesting treats. While he carries a few extra pounds, it only adds to his cuddly charm. Midnight is proof that the best things in life are soft, round, and full of LOVE.***Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Midnight's person?
