Story
Six years ago, we adopted Opal as a tiny kitten. Curious, confident, and full of personality from the start, she quickly became part of our family and earned the nickname Kiki, which she happily answers to. Opal loves the outdoors. Sunbathing, watching birds, and exploring are some of her favorite things, and shes happiest when she can enjoy fresh air and freedom. At home, shes easygoing, affectionate on her own terms, and very tuned into her routines. She especially loves getting wet food a few times a week and never forgets when its time. She gets along well with our dogs and lives peacefully with them, so we believe she would do well in a home with dogs given proper introductions. This is not an easy decision. Were preparing to head out on the road for an extended time, and we dont want Opal to be confined or put at risk from wildlife in unfamiliar places. Because we love her, were looking for a home that better fits her needs. Our hope is to find Opal a loving home

Story
I've had Luna since she was 3-months-old, she is almost 8-years-old now. She has been a super sweet cat, but she does not get along with our other 2 cats and she seems stressed with having 2 young kids in the home. She would do great in a home probably as an only cat and if there are kids, older kids (she is currently in a home where the oldest is only 2.5) who can understand not to chase her or pull her fur/tail. She started out as the only cat in the home and was super playful, I think she can get back to this when not being stressed by other pets or young kids. She loves to cuddle and has started laying by my head at night. I absolutely love her, but want her to thrive in an environment better suited for her needs. She loves sitting on the very top of a cat tower or curling up under a blanket.
