Story
Meet Cicero The Fearless Orator in a Chocolate-and-White Suit Born in a homeless camp to their devoted mom Era, Cicero and his siblings came into the world surrounded by hardship. A devastating fire destroyed everything around them, and while many of Era’s previous kittens tragically didn’t survive life outdoors, these six did. At just 4 weeks old, still blue-eyed and unsure, Cicero was rescued — tiny, skeptical, and already plotting his next move. Today? He has opinions. And toys to conquer. Personality: Bold, Brilliant, and Unapologetically Curious True to his philosopher namesake, Cicero is fearless, expressive, and impossible to ignore. If a toy comes out, he is the first one airborne, usually alongside Plato and Socrates, launching himself into action like it’s a very important debate. His favorite topics include: • Kitty tunnels (excellent for dramatic entrances) • Fluffy balls (must be chased immediately) • Spring toys (no explanation needed) • Feather wands (his greatest weakness) Cicero is endlessly excited to discover new things. New toy? Yes. New puzzle feeder? Absolutely. New episode of kitten TV? Front row seat. Cicero is a rare chocolate-and-white beauty, soft as a cloud and just as comforting. His purr is the cutest little motor — gentle, happy, and constant — especially when he’s curled up after a long day of philosophical exploration. Despite his bravery and bold play style, he is still very much a baby with so much love to give. He adores affection, cuddles deeply, and melts into his humans once playtime is over. Cicero’s heart belongs to his best friend and forever companion, Socrates. They do everything together: play, explore, nap, eat, and end every adventure in a cuddle puddle. Because of this deep bond, Cicero must be adopted with Socrates. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one For a pair of kittens we apply a $25 discount from each adoption fee. Check out more photos and videos of Cicero here: Cicero Photo album Cicero and Socrates are estimated to be 3 mo old as of Jan 5 2025 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. Story
Hey, I'm Nicks! I'm a buff tabby boy kitty, and I am 5 months old. I am a little calmer than my brother Eugene, and a little friendlier than my sister, Miss Felter. I'm not looking for anything crazy; just a good home where I will get to play with some fun toys, be loved by my people, and get pet and maybe get some head or face scritches. I think that's all any cat really needs. Well, okay, and treats. I would love it if I got lots of treats! They're soooo delicious!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    October 11, 2025, 2:37 pm

Story
Hello, call me Alice, because that's my name! I'm a 2 year old brown tabby and white girl and former mama cat! You can tell me apart from my kittens (who are also beautiful brown tabbies with white) because I have a thin white streak on my nose. I've spent the last few months focused on my babies, and I'm a bit timid about interacting with people, so please be patient with me. I am a curious and watchful kitty. If you wanted to adopt me with one of my kittens (Astro and Aubrey), that would be great, but I'm also okay with letting them grow up on their own; whatever lets them and me live our best lives!  (Aubrey has been adopted.)   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hello! My name is Lindsey, and I'm a greyish-brown tabby and white kitty girl! I'm about 3 years old, but I seem younger because I love to play! I'm not picky about toys, either--mouse toys, springs, feathers, sparkly or jingly balls--I love them all! I am also a fan of people and getting affection from you--I have a great purr that I will be happy to share with you while you pet me, or you can hold me and I'll purr then, too! I also like to chat at people--not like, a ton (you should hear some of the cats caterwauling over here; I'm not like that!), but enough that we can have a little conversation. Anyway, I'm so ready to find my furever family, or really, for them to find me!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
