Story
Hi, I'm Camden! I'm a light orange tabby boy, and I'm 7 months old! I like to get petted and to curl up in comfy spaces. I'm not a big fan of being here at the shelter--I really don't like the dogs that I can hear from my cage, so I need a furever home with no dogs, please. I might be a little shy when you meet me. I'm told I'm a very sweet boy, and I know once I find my new family, I will love them so much! [CAMDEN IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT FUR BABIES CAT CAFE IN CARROLLTON!]   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. Hi, my name is Olive! I'm five months old, and I'm a black and white girl kitty. I like being pet, and I like batting toys around--that is so much fun! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hark! I'm Herald, a boy kitty of 4 months old with sleek black fur! I love to play, as you can see in the photos of me with a cool toy. I'm a little spicy and shy right now because I'm new to the shelter, but I think once I find a furever home, I'll mellow out a bit. I'm sharing a cage with my 3 siblings, Drummer, Joy, and Noel. It would be nice if I could go home with one of them, but I don't mind having my new home all to myself, either.   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. Story
Hello, you can call me Joy. I'm an orange tabby girl with a white bib and feet, and I'm 4 months old! I think feather toys are really interesting, and I like boxes if you have any spare ones I can cozy up in! I'm a bit timid because I'm just not used to being at the shelter where anyone can come over and try to pet me--but I will let you pet me if you're nice about it! I'm hoping my furever family will find me soon, and maybe bring along one of my siblings, Herald, Noel, or Drummer?   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hi, my name is Benny! I'm 7 months old, and I am a black kitty boy who is a bit shy compared to my brother. He and I have spent a lot of time together because we both got sick, but we're all better now, and looking forward to finding our furever homes! I like toys, and you might even catch me picking up and carrying around the little stuffed toy ball that someone brought me to play with. I'm a sweet boy who might need a little patience, but you can pet me. Just give me a little time to warm up--and I know that once I'm in a place that's my own furever home, I'll really become my best self!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Hey, I'm Ortiz! I'm a black kitty boy of 7 months. I've been here at the shelter for a little while with my brother--we both got sick, but we're all better now and I for one am not about to miss another minute of playtime! I'm a sweet boy who is cool with getting pets, but my most favorite thing is playing. I had so much fun with the lady who brought a wand toy for me to play with while she took my photos for this thing called 'the Internet'. I was ready to chase the feathers on that toy just about anywhere! So if you're looking for a fun-loving guy, I'm the cat for you! He has lived inside for his entire life! He’s super cuddly, sweet, and calm. He loves cuddles and being pet. He’s not a huge fan of being held but he’ll allow it every now and then. My 3 cats do not get along with other cats, we’ve come to find out. They are showing aggression toward him. He has NEVER returned the aggression!!! He just gets confused and hides. His perfect home would be one where he got so many cuddles!

Story
My name is Sheba and I'm 3 years old! My most notable traits are that I am very curious and I'm ALWAYS interested in what my human is doing. Though I am a wee bit skittish. If I hear a pop or a clang from one of those pesky washing machines or dish washers, you won't catch me around. I do not like sudden movements but I LOVE bottom scratches and my chin and cheeks are my favorite place to be pet. It takes me a long while to get comfortable with my human, but once I learn you are loving, kind, and just the wee bit playful, I won't let you leave my sight! Pros: Very loving, enjoys pets, sometimes playful, quiet, loves attention, curious.Cons:Very Skittish, Meeting new people takes weeks to get comfortable, will scat at the suddenness of movementBest for quiet homes, with nurturing owners, no aggressive behaviors. Be sure to give Sheba plenty of time to learn her new place and new people.

Story
Hi, I'm Thorin and I'm a cat's cat! What does that mean? Well, I love the company of other cats but I'm not so sure about people. I will come out and make myself known to the people but I am very skittish of people. My foster mom can only pet me when I'm in the cat tower or pop-up bed. I can be brought out with a feather toy, but I really love just hanging out with other cats rather than people. I would do best starting in a smaller area to get used to my new environment. If you're looking for a cat that will be friends with your cat, then please consider me but I'm not going to be a cat that wants human companionship.Apply at nchsrescue.org/adopt

Hi! My name is Dixie. I am a very loving little girl who needs a home! I am with a great foster family and I have lots of friends and toys to play with. I would love to go to a new home with other kitties to hang out with. I always use the litter box and never have any accidents. I don't pick on the furniture or play too rough. I was shy at first and would run and hide but now I love to cuddle up to my foster mom. Please consider me as your next family member!

Story
Tomboy is a very loving and playful yellow and white young cat who adopted our carport several months ago. Yes, we do feed him! The vet says he is healthy and about a year and a half to two years old. We had him neutered and he has received his first one year rabies vaccination. We think Tomboy has previously been an indoor cat. He is well socialized and is litter box trained. Because we have a small dog and cat indoors that frequently travel with us, we are hoping to find a home that will also welcome him indoors. Thank you for considering Tomboy. The small adoption fee is simply to help cover food and basic care and to discourage adoption into an unhealthy environment. If you are interested in “Tommy” please contact us and we will arrange a meet and greet.
