Hey there, I'm Romeow.  I'm a kitten, but don't let that fool you. I'm as independent as they come.  My journey to Paws? Well, it's a tale for the ages. You see, I was living the high life, roaming the streets, hiding under dumpsters, living off the generosity of kindly old ladies. But one day, a nice lady found me and I caught a ride straight to the rescue.  Now, I'm looking for a new place to call home. Someone who appreciates a cat with a sense of adventure and a knack for finding trouble. Cuz I'm a super playful kitten that loves stick toys, laser lights, and anything else that can move. I also enjoy watching the birds at the feeder. Don't worry. Just as the name implies, I am a lover too. After a good play session, curling up for some cuddles with someone is awesome. I can keep your lap warm while you watch some TV or read a book. So, how about it? Want to add a dash of excitement and love to your life? Sweet Sorbet came to us through animal control. She was supposed to have a belly full of "desserts" but joke was on us. She was just a lil chubby. Sorbet is an absolute doll and has gorgeous hazel eyes that look green sometimes and yellow at others. During her time as a stray, it seems her back paw may have been run over. Its taken some time, but the bones are almost healed. Although her back foot is a little larger and odd shaped from her ordeal. She doesn't let her past taint her beautiful personality.  She loves chin and ear scratches. She's pretty laid back. Sorbet enjoys exploring her space, but isn't a speed racer either. Lest we forget, Sorbet is vocal. She will let you know when you aren't petting her, but should. Or when its time to eat. Or that she is so happy to see you and wants to spend some time with you. Sorbet would love a home of her very own that will love her to the end of days. A cat tree to relax on. A person's lap to take a snooze in. She currently resides with 4 other female cats and a male cat and gets along well with all of them. Since she was the first in the room (which sadly means she has been there the longest), she has welcomed each newcomer.  We also have used her as our dog tester to see if they are savvy to the wiles of a cat.
