Meet Oleander!
If you've ever looked at a kitten and thought, "That cat looks like he belongs in the wild," Oleander may be the answer to your very specific request. This handsome brown tabby, estimated to have been born 4/8/26, is technically a Domestic Shorthair, although his slightly fluffy coat and those magnificent tufts of hair sticking straight out from the tips of his ears make a very convincing case that someone may have accidentally mixed a little bobcat into the recipe.
Oleander has the looks of a tiny wildcat and the personality of a total cuddle bug. He's wonderful with people and other cats and kittens, and when he's not busy racing around with his siblings, he's perfectly happy to be scooped up and cuddled like a baby. There's something particularly hilarious about holding this miniature "bobcat" in your arms while he melts into the sweetest little snuggle session.
Of course, Oleander is still very much a kitten, which means his schedule consists primarily of PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, followed by a brief but necessary nap before resuming PLAY. He loves his siblings and enjoys all kinds of toys, so he's always ready for a good chase, wrestling match, or full-speed kitten adventure. His energy is impressive, but so is his ability to switch from tiny jungle predator to cuddly baby in approximately two seconds.
There is, however, one creature Oleander has officially declared his sworn enemy: the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum has apparently violated several important terms of the household peace treaty, and Oleander wants nothing to do with it. We respect his position.
Because Oleander is such a social, energetic kitten who loves having feline friends to play with, he must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat or kitten. He'll thrive with a feline companion who can keep up with his zoomies, wrestling matches, and endless kitten adventures. A built-in playmate means he can burn off some of that considerable energy before settling in for his favorite activity: being cuddled like a baby.
With his wild-looking ear tufts, fluffy brown tabby coat, playful personality, and serious love of cuddles, Oleander is a kitten who is impossible to overlook. He may look like he's ready to roam the wilderness, but what he really wants is a loving home where he can have a feline friend, chase toys, be adored by his people, and occasionally be carried around like the baby he knows he is.
If you're looking for a kitten who looks like a bobcat but acts like a teddy bear, Oleander might just be your guy. Just promise him one thing: the vacuum stays at a safe distance.
