Story
Howl and Sophie were found as neonate kittens without a mom in someone's garage in the summer of 2024. Unable to fend for themselves, these girls quickly joined the SAYv family with a wonderful family who agreed to foster and care for them. The girls are all grown up now and are ready to find their forever home. They are sweet and playful young cats who love each other and have never been apart which is why we are looking for a forever home for them together. They particular enjoy wand toys and chasing each other around the room. Ear scratches are the way to their heart as is a sunny spot where they can bird watch. Think that these pretty girls are the right fit for you? Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
Meet Deva—a brown tabby girl with a name that means "divine," and honestly, she lives up to it. Her story starts like a legend: her mama, found on the streets and bursting with kittens, made it into safety just in time. Deva was born warm, safe, and loved—and she’s carried that vibe ever since. Growing up in foster care, Deva has learned all the good stuff: how to pounce like a pro, nap like royalty, and charm every human and cat in sight. She’s playful, confident, and effortlessly cool—like the kitten version of your favorite indie rock star crossed with a yoga goddess. She’s got main character energy, and she knows it. Deva absolutely needs to be adopted with another kitten, a young playful cat, or into a home that already has a feline friend. She’s social, affectionate, and thrives with a buddy to pal around (and plot world domination) with. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s not just cute, but iconic—Deva is the one. She’s got the looks, the personality, and the origin story. All she’s missing is you. Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
Ahoy! I’m Mackerel – sleek, striped, and ready to swim my way right into your heart (and probably into your laundry basket too, because I will make that my bed). Despite my very fishy name, I’m not slippery – I’m actually super cuddly, and I’ve got the purr motor of a tiny tugboat. I’m the kind of kitten who will make you laugh daily with my goofy antics, sideways crab-walks, and questionable life choices (like thinking I can jump five feet and totally missing). I may have a fishy name, but I actually may be part dog because I love the pups in my foster mom's house! While I may be named after a fish, I’m no solo swimmer – I must be adopted into a home with another kitten friend. I need a buddy to chase, tackle, and conspire with in the middle of the night. Bonus points if it’s my brother Marlin – we’re the dynamic duo of tabby trouble and we come with built-in comedy. Some people say “there are plenty of fish in the sea,” but trust me – there’s only one Mackerel like me. Adopt me, and let’s make some waves together. (Preferably the kind that don’t knock over your houseplants.) Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
Introducing Guppy: small in size, mighty in spirit, and absolutely convinced she’s a wild predator (even if she still sometimes trips over her own feet). This brown tabby girl with a polka-dotted belly is the perfect mix of sweet and fearless, and she’s got a love for adventure that’s bigger than her kitten body. Guppy is the kind of kitten who will: Pounce on leaves like they insulted her family Scale a cat tree in 2.5 seconds flat Fall asleep upside down with her belly spots on full display Cry dramatically at the door because she knows the backyard exists and she wants back out there, thank you very much She adores supervised outside time—sunbeams, bugs, bird-watching, and pretending she’s a lion stalking a blade of grass. But don’t worry: when the expedition is over, she’s happy to curl up in your lap and purr like a motorboat. Guppy needs to be adopted with another kitten buddy—someone to wrestle, chase, and plot with (preferably a sibling, but any energetic feline friend will do). She’s got too much play in her to go solo. Looking for a brave, spotted-belly explorer to add some excitement—and chaos—to your life? Adopt Guppy. She’s part kitten, part jungle cat, and 100% ready to steal your heart (and maybe your shoelaces). Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
Meet Butt-Head – Chaos Gremlin, Purr Machine, and Half of a Legendary Duo Named after the iconic cartoon duo, Butt-Head is one half of a mischief-making, zoomie-loving, toy-destroying team. But don’t worry—unlike his namesake, this sleek all-black kitten has excellent hygiene, loves affection, and won’t prank call your neighbors (probably). He’s got all the classic kitten traits: fast feet, endless curiosity, and a deep passion for wrestling his brother Beavis like it's a full-contact sport. But when the chaos winds down, Butt-Head flips the switch and becomes a total sweetheart—purring like a tiny engine and snuggling up close. He must be adopted with a feline friend—ideally his brother Beavis, so they can continue their lovable nonsense together in a home of their own. If you're ready for a little mayhem, a lot of laughs, and a cat who lives up to his name just enough, Butt-Head is ready to make your home his next episode. Meet Beavis – Tiny Tornado, Lap Lover, and Proud Owner of One Very Important Whisker Just like his brother Butt-Head, Beavis is here to bring the party. He’s an all-black blur of kitten energy with a signature white whisker (his “distinguished gentleman” vibe, if you will). Together, Beavis and Butt-Head are the ultimate cartoon-inspired duo—minus the bad haircuts and weird laughs. Though to be fair, Beavis does sometimes get a little wild around snack time. He’s got it all: zoomies, sneak attacks, high-speed toy chases, and enough purring power to rattle a bookshelf. Beavis is super affectionate, always ready for a cuddle session once he’s finished tearing through the room like a furry cannonball. He and Butt-Head are best buds, wrestling partners, and nap-time snugglers—adopting them together is like getting your own live-action sitcom. Beavis must go home with another kitten buddy (preferably his bro), because this kind of energy needs a sidekick, and your ankles will thank you. If you’re looking for a hilarious, sweet, high-energy duo with cartoon names and way better behavior, Beavis is ready to bounce into your life—with his iconic whisker leading the way. Apply to adopt today: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Story
We got Oliver after a friend of mine couldn’t take care of him anymore. At first it was nice, but over time the expenses became too much for me to handle by myself with 3 kids. I have 3 cats (including Oliver) and they all get along very well. Oliver also gets along with my dog and he has never once hissed at a human, dog, or fellow cat. He is very sweet and loves to play with strings (just like any cat) and loves to snuggle up in a bed, or couch, or whatever he deems appropriate for sleeping and rests like a newborn baby. He does like to use the scratching post and I realized that if you don’t have that for him, he will tear at the carpet instead. He’s kind of shy and tends to run away if he hears the doorbell or a knocking at the door. But otherwise he loves to walk around and chill most of the day.
