Over a year ago, Pamela got lucky. As a petite and pregnant stray, she was picked up by a compassionate family who were suprised to find that she was pregnant. She was able to stay with this family and grow healthy, raise her kittens, enjoy life. However, due to family circumstances changing, the family had to downsize the number of animals under their care. Pamela is described as a social and loving family member who gets along with dogs and children! She is a cuddlebug who loves to sleep in bed with her humans. She has no issue with loud noise, enjoys catnip mice, and is a big conversationalist - if you talk, she will talk back! The shelter environment has brought out Pamela's anxieties, and because of that, she is not enjoying time spent around other cats - even her own son - but we are hopeful that once back in a home environment, this will change. Domino's story begins over a year ago with a petite and pregnant kitten who was wandering as a stray. Mercifully, a kind family took her in and named her Pamela. Pamela gave birth to 6 kittens, 4 of whom made it to adulthood, and one of whom turned out to be Domino! Domino was treasured and adored by his temporary caretakers. However, it was always the plan to try and find he and his family members a new home. Difficult family changes made this more of a priority, and so tearfully and with a long, handwritten note, Domino and his mama were surrendered at our shelter not too long ago. From everything we were told, Domino is a peaceful, affectionate, and loving kitty in the home. He's warmed up rapidly here at the shelter and does great being around kittens he shares a space with. Described as quirky, Domino reportedly is a total cuddlebug, enjoying lap time as well as snuggles in bed. Domino has been around other cats and dogs, but with his gentle nature, chaotic and rowdy dogs may be overwhelming for him. He was particularly adored by the 7 year old in the home, so he may thrive with young and loving family members. Domino has a playful side - he goes crazy for laser toys and catnip mice. He also has a penchant for huffing the stinkiest smells he can find, something his previous home always indulged him in. Domino is a sweet and cute boy who would love a family that enjoys him for who he is!
