Havana Brown kittens & cats in Marietta, Ohio

Hammy and RJ are an adorable pair of kittens who were surrendered by their owner on July 24, 2025 along with their two sisters (Meeko and Stella). The kittens were 4-weeks old at that time. Hammy is a handsome male Tuxedo kitten. He has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, a small patch of white on the right-hand side of his muzzle, and long white whiskers. Hammy has a beautiful white/silver undercoat. RJ is a cute female Chocolate Point Siamese kitten. She has a cream/ivory short smooth coat, a long chocolate brown tail, and an adorable face with blue eyes, a large brown mask, a pink nose, a white muzzle, and long white whiskers. These siblings dearly love each other, but they are still working on their social skills with regard to their people friends. They have made progress in our shelter since their arrival, but they are not yet ready to be held in your arms or snuggle up on your lap. We believe that they would do much better in a home environment with a family or individual who has the experience/patience to let them acclimate to their new home (realizing they may choose to hide for awhile until you gain their trust). The siblings have been separated into pairs so that they will have a best friend for comfort/security: [Hammy & RJ] and [Meeko & Stella]. Hammy and RJ were neutered/spayed on September 23, 2025 and were also given rabies vaccine. Hammy weighed 6.7 lbs that day while RJ weighed 5.2 lbs. Hammy and his sister RJ are sharing a cage and are quite compatible. RJ plays the role of the proverbial 'little sister' who depends upon her big brother. They are being listed as a bonded pair and will be required to be adopted together.

Mr. Hyde & Kitty Babe are a sweet pair of 8-year old best friends who were surrendered by their owner on December 26, 2025 through no fault of their own. Mr. Hyde (pictured on the left) has a brown short smooth coat in a spotted tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and a handsome chubby face with pale golden eyes, a splash of white on his muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Mr. Hyde weighs 10.7 lbs. Kitty Babe (pictured on the right) has a dark brown short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful face with green/gold eyes, a cute white muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Kitty Babe weighs 9.2 lbs. Both of these magnificent cats are very shy but also very sweet. Mr Hyde is the more shy of the pair and responds to a gentle touch. Kitty Babe has a very affectionate personality and loves to snuggle under blankets. Their owner reported that they were good with other animals and also with children. Mr. Hyde and Kitty Babe have been neutered/spayed. They have also been front-paw declawed so they would be required to be exclusive indoor-only kitties. Mr. Hyde and Kitty Babe are being listed as a bonded pair and are ready to find a loving home together. Travis is a handsome male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on August 5, 2025 along with his two siblings (Jackie and Jeff). They were found in Marietta Ohio fending for themselves though they were only 8-weeks old at that time. This little playboy has a gray short smooth coat with small patches of white on his chest/belly, a long tail, and an adorable triangular-shaped face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Travis was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on August 5, 2025. He weighed 1.5 lbs that day. Travis was given booster vaccines on August 25th, September 12th, and September 25th, 2025. Travis and his sister Jackie had shared a cage when they entered our shelter and are currently enjoying a large cat tower. Their brother Jeff (a beautiful longhaired gray kitten) was fostered by one of our compassionate HSOV kennel techs since he needed some extra TLC and supplemental feeding. Our hearts (and Haley McClain's) were broken when Jeff passed away on August 25th. He was loved every minute that we were privileged to have cared for kitten Jeff. These updated photos of Travis were taken on January 24, 2026 when Travis and his sister Jackie were enjoying extra attention in their large cat tower while they posed for new glamour photos. Travis was neutered on December 18, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 6.2 lbs that day. Travis and Jackie have super-sweet, outgoing personalities. They get along with other cats as well as children. Travis and Jackie are being listed a a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together.
